ok yeah i remember him, We got battered, to be fair, the mids and forward were ok, but the back four was shocking, he did ok, and seemed like he cared he was tracking back trying to cover and geeing his team up. It would have been hard to stand out in that game.

ps-the yanks were brilliant, wiped the floor with us and Brazil, had a Q and A with Klinsmann and he was engaging and is doing big things, would have no hesitation in having him at the villa in the future. Espcially with what hes doing at youth level, would fit in with our philosophy.

The formation tactics etc dosnt matter 1 bit the Facts are villa have a poor squad who cant cut it in prem therefore whoever you put in at whatever position you want dont mattet the players are just not good enough and thats a fact. Until the quality of player improves at the club it is irelevant. If we had 6 at the back wed concede. On a serious note id play 3-2-4-1 and see if we can do any better id have sylla and westwood as the 2 with gardner and tonev in the middle the gabby and albrighton wingers then tekkers up top

Yes and no, generally they get 2 years scholarship with a years pro at the end of it if they are lucky. Some just get 2 years scholarship and have to earn the pro deal.

Some of the lads get the scholarship early, so effectively 3 years scholarship. The likes of Andre Green and RHM are full time already but are still 15.

Seemed a really nice lad, but was talking the usual young lad stuff. Dont think he realised we were big Villa fans. Saying he may well will be in the first team soon, cool to be positive, I like it, but we were all there thinking, the Premier League is no place for the youth. Not sure weather he was talking about being loaned out, though even the youth big guns are struggling, yeah?
