Another big drone strike in Crimea, this time the Navy HQ.

Russia hasn’t really responded to these strikes on what they say is their land have they.

They are incapable on escalation beyond their current level.

Russia is a massive country and (in their eyes) they are surrounded on all sides by hostile NATO.   Their troops and airforce are stretched to the limit.

Biden has said that any nuclear/ chemical retaliation would justify direct US intervention.

What more can they do?

I think the only option they have is to re-start shelling Kyiv.

In fact today, the narrative seems to have changed from Ukraine official sources.

We've had months of "UA troops have repelled attacks in blah blah and blah, the occupiers made no progress"

Today we've had "Russia tries to prevent Ukraine counter-offensive"

That is possible. But it would be taking resources from the main battle area.

Ots not just a case of moving a few artillery pieces.  It's the anti- aircraft weapons that keep them safe, the supply trucks that supply them and tge ground forces which would be needed to stop Ukraine Special Forces popping across the border to carelessly drop cigarettes.

At least in the UK.

What does this even mean? Our NATO capability even with the stuff we’re donating is eons ahead of ERA stacks filled with rubber and bent artillery barrels made in Soviet times.

It’s not even an underestimation to say that NATO capabilities are 30 years ahead of Russia. Ukraine would probably do well even without our NLAWs, but it sure has helped. Corbyn would likely donate food to Russia instead, and then try to get a job at RT with his mate George.

Corbyn was demonised by the media (to maintain the status quo?) Can't remember the name of the investigation but I believe it's just been published but surprise surprise it's very hard to find.

Corbyn doesn't believe in war. It's very easy to believe in war until your in a  ditch with bullets flying over your head and you and your mates crying in fear. Thats the reality of it all.

In the end most wars mean nothing after a few years , just graves, memories, lost futures and a few lines on a map. How glorious. Peace.

What the flying f*** has Corbyn got to do with the war in Ukraine? He's an irrelevance. Him and his mates in the Stop the War Coalition (that'll be George Galloway too) were pushing the Kremlin line that it was all NATOs fault, even now he's saying that there should be talks. When it comes to stuff like this, he's a massive idiot and all the war in Ukraine has done is prove he and they are beyond stupid or Russian shills (in the case of Galloway its obviously the later.)

But anyway, this topic is for talking about the Russian invasion of Ukraine, not an irrlevance like Corbyn

Yeah, looks that way. Apparently he was meant to be in the car.

Where you seen that? From what I've seen (admittedly all just Twitter commentary), she was a target in her own right, and was making moves politically, so may even have been a target for assassination by Russian security.

Daughter of Ukraine war mastermind 'is blown to pieces in Moscow car bomb' | Daily Mail Online

Daughter of Ukraine war mastermind 'is blown to pieces in Moscow car bomb': Darya Dugin 'assassinated in attack meant for her father Alexander' – one of Putin's closest aides often dubbed the Russian leader's 'brain'

Granted it's the daily fail but most agencies are reporting the same.
