Doubt it, its co-written with Smith. He started the song but couldn't finish it, Smith recording in the studio next door finished it for him. If it weren't for Smith there would be no song at all. As a 4-5 year old boy, I used to think the lyrics were Old Kane (my name) rather than Old King when my Dad had probably first bought the album.
