Meath_Villan
Did it happen after filling up with fuel?
PussEKatt
With the information you have given, all I can say is: If it stopped smoothly and rolled to a stop.....probably electrical, distributer, points etc If it sputtered and coughed and then stopped ....probably to do with the fuel, carburetta, fuel pump etc If it stopped suddenly or with a bang or noise ...probably mechinacal, the worst you could do is run out of oil and throw a conrod through the sump.
