  1. With regards to the open Alpine seat I've no idea who's getting it. I did think I could see Mick Schumacher getting given it. Then Gasly to Haas away from Red Bull..... some youth driver into the AT seat. Probably Latifi finally given the hook too freeing up another seat
  2. Verstappen has more wins from Leclerc's poles than Leclerc does. Some of that is abhorrent Ferrari strategy but not all of it. Leclerc makes far more errors than Verstappen (and Hamilton) and if Verstappen is knocked out of the race its usually fighting for an overtake rather than Leclercs preferred method of smashing his car into the tyre barrier. With that being said Leclerc is clearly a very talented driver..... his lovely swoop around the outside of Russell in Hungary was superb and an indication of his talent. I do think he needs to grow a spine and not let Ferrari push him around so much with their idiot strategy. I don't see him leaving Ferrari any time soon sadly and their car is good.... just a complete clownshow in the garage
  3. Tony Sirico too? Damn. One of my favourites in the Sopranos.
  4. England Twitter account taking a jab at Kohli just now, fantastic stuff. Hope we never see him batting in England again tbh
  5. Absolutely herculean from both Root and Bairstow. Never thought that would be chased
  6. New ball brings 3 wickets (2 directly). Collapse incoming but the umpires need to get a grip of this. England New Zealand and India all clamouring for constant ball changes. India should not be getting a newer ball 20 overs in
  7. Leclerc was incredible on those hard tyres after the safety car considering his damage and the tyre advantage of all around him. That 3 way battle with the Mercedes RB and Ferrari was pure F1. If only the Alpine and McLaren could compete as having Norris and Alonso back there unable to directly get stuck in was a shame
  8. You only need to look at Bairstows innings and see that you can be positive and still not try and throw away your wicket every ball. Stokes batting is awful
  9. We could play 3 innings here and would only be 50 ahead of India's first innings total
  10. 5 down for under 100. Still 350+ behind. I don't think I want to see Broad in an England shirt again but can't see him getting dropped. Crawley and Lees are just the **** worst, and this innings defeat might be the reality check we need to get some of these idiots out of the side. And if we can never ever send a night-watchman in again that would be nice
  11. This morning has confirmed it. Utter, utter lunacy. Game fully gone now, barring another miracle. Why do we bowl meticulously planning-wise at the top half and then as soon as we're facing bowlers Broad and Stokes and co are bowling shite short balls to try and bounce them out? They're so desperate to get in there and bat that they're allowing teams to add 100 runs on for fun. Absolutely catastrophic captaincy by Stokes and another chance for Lees and Crawley to waste everyone's time opening up... Lees literally already gone after 3 overs this morning. England seem to think being aggressive means throwing control of the game back to teams. India haven't got an absolute Turkey like Michael Bracewell for you to smash 200 runs off per match. And neither do Australia
  12. England letting a middle order run away with the score again, there's a shocker. Pant and Jadeja far more dynamic than Mitchell and Blundell but the same headache. When you've got India 5 down for around 100 you've got to really press that advantage home. Happened 4/4 times under Stokes now so wondering if it's his captaincy decisions. Top order getting skittled for little and then the middle order making huge runs is becoming his sides signature, for both fielding and Batting
  13. My criticism is more to the likes of Kerrigan and Bess and whatever awful first class spinner we've trotted out. Moeen, Leach and Swann probably the only test quality spinners we've seen. I think Bracewell was up there with the crappest test spinners I've watched
  14. I think only England have produced test spinners on a par with Michael Bracewell for awfulness over the last decade. Looked like a bargain-bin Dom Bess and that's saying something. I normally think Leach isn't it for England too, but on a pitch that wasn't turning square he put in a real shift especially 2nd innings. That was a big difference. Bracewell was getting carted
  15. I'm really enjoying The Boys. That was probably the biggest "wtf" episodes of the series.
  16. To be fair, England's limited overs batting options are such they could feasibly leave out about 4 or 5 outstanding batters from a World Cup squad who would walk into most international sides.
  17. My issue is that our 4 man tail average about 1 per match just keep calm and let Stokes and Foakes knock them off the board
  18. Bairstow finally out. Still short and with Stokes on one leg this is going to get a bit edgy if we lose Foakes
  19. Bairstow 79 runs off 36 balls since tea...
  20. Next two balls after my message go for 6. He's defo gonna be caught in 10 mins tops
  21. I mean that is a stunning innings from Bairstow. If they rein it in and knock these off we win. Stokes hobbling around
  22. This is NZ with Southee bowling the worst I've seen him, Jamieson unable to bowl properly, one of the most average test spinners (that's not been in an England shirt), no De Grandhomme, and Matt Henry who is such a bland bowler you forget he's bowled an over... and England have still manage to fold like a cheap deckchair.
  23. Garbage batting yesterday morning, garbage bowling this morning which swung the game back to New Zealand and then this embarrassing capitulation this afternoon. Crawley should be straight out. Bairstow out of this side too but he'll be kept in as he's "the right face". Beyond a farce how we've dropped this game
