    My initial thoughts on Ancelotti were that he wouldn't fit in here. That he would find it difficult under a restrictive wage structure. But the more I think about it, the more I want him here. He's won loads of trophies and had the respect of players at every club he's been at. The fact he said he would drop down to the Championship for the West Ham job shows his desire to stay on these shores. Get Carlo & Wilkins in and I would be delighted.

    I'm currently managing Leicester City after stints at New York Red Bulls and Portsmouth. Signed Manucho, Taarabt and Gradel. Uploaded with ImageShack.us Drawing too many games atm though. they were 12th when I took over, and we're still 12th now after 21 games under my management. Solid if unspectacular.

    I get the feeling Randy really likes Ged as a person, and especially after his recent setback - can't see him replacing with someone who Ged doesn't seem to be very fond of after their mini argument a few months back.

    Dunno if it's been mentioned, but Houllier said he was taken off because he picked up a knock just before half time, and he wanted to see if he could run it off. Fwiw, I thought he did fine. He'll need time to adjust and integrate but he showed signs yesterday that he could be a good player for us. Seemed to make NRC step up his game too.

    Could not care less weather Thommo has been a knob in the past. If he joins and helps us win matches, I don't care. Like someone said, at least he'll show passion and commitment.

    I thought Friedel couldn't get a work permit to play at Liverpool, or was that Newcastle... Warnock wasn't deemed good enough, but I would be disappointed in the players if they behaved like this. Water under the bridge and all that. Both players are better than they were when managed by Houllier anyways. Probably just fabrication.

    As I see it, GH would deal in the transfer market and scout for players, as well as help out K-Mac with anything he needs. K-Mac would deal with the training of the players and tactics. Really not sure about this set-up, but would be interesting to see how it would work out if it happens.
