Jekyll and Hyde really. What worries me is that he makes poor passes and decisions when he has time to think. Definitely have the potential to become a decent player with age and experience.

We're a much better team with him in midfield. There's zero doubt about that. His passes were astray against Leicester , but was nice and tidy yesterday. Looks to me as someone who's constantly improving. Think he'll be a cracking player with one or two season under his belt.

Was out most positive player in large parts of the game today. He works hard, and he's usually involved in the chances/goals created. Clumsy at times yes, but puts in a good shift.

We more or less made wholesale changes to the squad last summer. Most of the new players in were both young and without or with little Premier League experience. Even seasoned quality players struggled in their first season when they make the move to the Premier league, and thats in teams that's settled. Add injuries to key players and that fact that we don't have a striker. I'd say we're doing quite well under the circumstances.

Helped a lot getting on a midfielder with a better range if passing and ability to switch play.

Wasn't too bad. Made quite a few decent passes and broke up play a few times. Still off the pace and some way to go. Think he offers more then Hourihane in general play.

Hause can't switch play. Makes us so easy to press against.

That's why we rate Luiz.

Drop Hause. Get in another cm. Play Grealish as a false 9nfree role and have AEG and Trez in front.

Problem is we got 3 players wide horizontal on each side. There's no threat in the middle of the pitch.

Hause isn't good enough to play in a back three at the moment. Constantly gets us into trouble. We've got one player less in forward areas of the pitch. Yet the extra player we have in the backline only gets us into trouble. We don't need his aerial strength in this match. Hause and Konza not switching play does my head in. Need to be able to do that when playing in a back 3. Hope we that we drop Hause for a winger or a midfielder and go for a back 4 i second half.

Luiz for Hause, go back to 4 backline. Hause is a liability at the moment.

Both His and Hause inability(or instructions not to) to switch the play to the wingbacks annoys me. It's devestating when playing with a back three. They only seem to be playing it straight forward, or sideways to Mings. At a stretch cross it between each other. There's been plenty of situations to relieve pressure by switching play horizontally, where the wings backs are completely open and they have time to make the cross. Where it just doesn't happen. Just block off the midfielders, and they end up passing it between the wingback at the same side or to Mings. The pressing players can keep pressing and voila we hoof the ball away or try to play a desperate ball along the ground vertically. Which just leads to us losing the ball over and over.
