  1. Yep.... dirt bags the lot of them. And when people think they'll be voting for the lesser of two evils.... big lolz all around. Both parties are absolutely turgid.
  2. That's pretty good accuracy, even being able to see the internal damage from the port side of the ship before the second explosion.
  3. Emery doesn't need to sell him the club, just sell him the weed. He'll find enough of that in Brum.
  4. They're pretty smart at Villareal and realise longer contract could see them paying for him to be injured.
  5. Don't give up the day job pal..... or escape the asylum. And he's from Halesowen. The M5 was purposely built to keep them from invading Brum. Obviously it's not working the way it was meant to
  6. Come on Folly... He's not been celibate for the last 2 years ffs. All of a sudden he's had a dip in form and it's down to shagging too much. You know how ridiculous that sounds.
  7. An unfair argument imo blaming fans for the atmosphere or for leaving early, especially when the result is a forgone conclusion. We've had a large amount of variable match times this season including last night. Kicking off at 8:15 on a week day, with kids at school the following day which is an absolute joke tbh. Then considering how late some of the games are finishing due to injury time. Traffic, long journeys, utter garbage rail service, City Council out at night ticketing fans vehicles wherever they can. The home crowd has been absolutely fantastic this season.
  8. "Ahhh, don't worry.... I'll look after little Andy like a big brother..... or a dad"
  9. So your to blame for his gambling and womanising After all these years it finally comes out
  10. In your opinion. And I'm sure many other including myself see Dougie as the main man in this team. It shows the value of both players tbh
  11. I find it crazy that posters see DL as dispensable and pick out others that aren't. POTS last year, in the mix for it this year. Probably our most missed player when he's not on the pitch, but yeah, lets sell him.
  12. Dougies from Rio though Nick Rio > Birmingham > definitely back to Rio I agree with your post though. Many do linger, especially if it's where they met partners and had kids etc.
  13. What about Suso? Smith knew nothing about DL until he was mentioned and I'm not sure he would've been responsible for Martinez initially either. I think sometimes it's easy to forget the individuals that get the players in that have transformed the club, Lange included. It shows imo the greatest signing will always be the manager because with him players never flourish.
  14. If I'm honest, the idea of spending regularly what we spent on Diaby would concern me. If we did I'd think we'd have lost our way like so many other clubs do, gambling away hoping to strike gold. I'd much rather as a club we continue to breed stars rather than buy them, and with the right manager and staff you can.
  15. I think your post is good but I just cannot agree with this statement. Dougie 15m, Konsa 11, McGinn 2, Youri 0, Kamara 0, Ramsey 0, Emi 20, Moreno 13, Cash 15, Torres, 30, Watkins 30, Bailey 30..... The players are about to compete and affordable, we just need to find more of what we have. We've spent very little to get where we are in the grand scheme of things. I don't think major work is needed. And yes, we can say they all needed development, but if it's not development it's time to settle, and sometimes those less established without the pressure can become the perfect buy. You don't need just established players, you need a mix. A bit of everything. A star or two next to a water carrier, next to a bundle of energy, next to a power house, next to a speedster. There are loads of ways to build a squad good enough to compete without thinking the only way to improve is buy increasing our individual spend all the time. The trick is having the right individuals to spot a) what we need to improve b) where to get them at the right price. They don't have to be superstars or expensive buys, they just need to be what we need not necessarily what everyone else wants. We are literally 3-4 players away from being a solid top squad that will compete with anyone on our day and in the PL for the next 5 years, that's the best you can ask for because nothing is guaranteed. The idea we cannot compete because we don't spend as much as the Chelsea's or Utd's is for those that want excuses. Look where spending has gotten them recently.
  16. Why did you have to be serious.... I was having fun taking the piss out that shirt. BTW I wear a lot of adidas kit for training etc and have a couple of legit collectors addidas football shirts with the trefoil. I prefer it much more than the new logo. I just prefer newer looking kits thats all. Anyway it's a crap mock up shirt imo.
  17. Still shit... Honestly, it looks really bad, Like something your old mans old man wore back post WW1.The neck is like a scarf, the trefoil looks 70's, the blue like it's been dipped in shit. It's horrendous
  18. I'd sell everyone before selling Luiz, Martinez, Kamara, McGinn or Konsa. Probably through Torres and Watkins into the mix. If we can't stay balanced at the top end of the league then we are very poorly run and still a feeder club. Especially if we can't hold onto our best players.
  19. I'd be really f***** off if we sold him this summer. It also would be another bit of bullshit from Hecks mouth about not selling our best players. We should be getting him on a new deal not looking to flog him.
  20. Maybe his agent/handlers are filling his head with dreams of CL, Madrid, Milan and all the other shite in order to get paid. More moves equals more dough. In the meantime we get a youngster who's head is all over the place. Not saying it's true but there does seem to be a lot of chatter around this kid considering he's only been here 12 months. I've just got a feeling he won't be here very long.
  21. I think he's been pretty unlucky tbh. He's probably had very little pre season himself with an impending move on the horizon or time to settle, from what I gather still in a hotel. He covered Ramsey's position whilst he was out and until Teilemans could get himself match fit and used to the system. Which incidentally coincided with some of our best form this season. Then when everyone starts getting fit or used to the system he reverts back out wide and then because of Leon's form is down to bit's and pieces. I can understand if he's a little frustrated tbh. He's had less time than anyone to settle other than Lenglet, who has been in England previously. He's shown versatility and a willingness to adapt to the system already playing in several positions, even if he hasn't been really imposing himself the way I expect he can. Add to that, he's had very little game time the last few weeks, just when he probably thinks he's getting somewhere, chipping in with a couple of goals and having more impact. I think it might be just agent chatter to let the club know he's frustrated and wants more game time. I don't see anything wrong with it, he's going to have a lot of options come the summer if we don't sign him. I think it's easy to forget he's still only a youngster himself and after so long out want's more for himself.
  22. I think it's a case of needs must. With Torres injured the last few weeks and a reliance on Konsa playing on the right, It's a good move and the logical one at least in the short term.
