    Ipswich apparently only made 3 changes for their cup match yesterday which went to penalties and lost agains Exeter. So we will have a slightly more rested squad. (If a squad could be tired so early in the season already).

    All these saves are from a few years back, so might have improved in that aspect. I haven’t seen much of him since leaving Norway, but I seem to remember that he was very vocal. Not sure what to think of this signing...not overly happy or unhappy about it.

    Don’t think we will be promoted this year, but a lot depends on what we are able to do in the loan market. We need two center backs, a winger and a striker, and retain Jack to be challenging. However, a few weeks ago we were going bust, so considering this we are in great shape now. I am willing to be patient this season as I believe these owners will get it right given time.

    Had hopes he was the real deal. I enjoyed last season more than I have for many years, even though in the Championship. Now I’m not even looking forward to next season, but dreading it. Only one man to blame for this it seems. New owners will have a tougher time winning over the fans since we have been burnt a few times now, but we will accept another approach than just going after many expensive players.

    What would be your best combined Villa/Fulham-team? Of course, I do not know the Fulham-players as well as Villas, but my line-up (4-4-2) would be the following: Johnston Fredericks Chester Terry Targett/Cafu Snodgrass Cairney Grealish Sessegnon Mitrovic Kodija (fully fit) Which includes almost 50/50 from each team.

    Not sure how I am getting to New Street I dont go to that many games at Villa Park since I dont live in England, so I dont know the best way to get to the station. I will take a taxi if that is the fastest way. But yes, Ideally I do want to sing "Dont look back in anger" after the win instead of rushing to the train Do I have time to do that and then taxi for the 22:30 train, or would that be too tight?

    Im considering going to Villa-Leeds Friday 13th April with a 19:45 kick-off. I have to get to Manchester after the match, and my question is: Will I be able to reach the 22:30 train from Birmingham New Street? And if not, surely I will have no problems catching the 23:09 train? Really would like the 22:30 one though as the other one takes 1 hour more with a change of trains in Crewe. Hope someone can give me some advice on this

    So all in all we actually improved our goal-difference compared to Cardiff (and Fulham, Wolves) today. Didn’t expect that with Cardiff playing SHA.
