AEG contract still has two years to run. So by then we should know whether JPB is ready to step up.

Highly doubt we re-sign with JPB waiting in the wings. We either sell or let his contract run out. Wages aren't crazy and given COVID the rest of Europe doesn't seem to have the funds to make selling him worthwhile.

Because he knows half the stadium was doubting him. People don't realize how badly he saved us last season. We literally had zero pen takers in the squad outside of him.

We go on about our owners, well check out Rennes. They definitely sell players as part of their financial strategy but they aren't hard up like that.

Young, obviously is the much better diver since his won a penalty. That was a sh*t dive by the Newcastle player and Young was letting him know as much. Also, maybe he slipped a couple of pointers in as well .

Cheap? Rennes paid £20 million+ for him last year. If he shows the same quality this year as he did in the Euros you aren't getting him for less than £40 million.

Tired cliche but anyway he had no issues with Sarr 2nd half versus Watford. Again made it look easy versus Newcastle. More than good enough til Targett regains fitness.

Replaced Douglas. It was very late in game so I never got a real chance to see how he set up though.

Dean knew Newcastle was just going to lump it forward over and over again. Smart decision but wouldn't read much else into it.

You watch JJ and Carney in the wings and it makes sense why we have been relatively quiet with our transfer window activity in the midfield. Summer of 2018 Newcastle sold both Ivan Toney and Adam Armstrong for pennies. Then the next summer they went and bought Joelinton for £40 million.

Brentford had a starting front 3 of Watkins, Maupay, and Benrhama. No Grealish for us. How did we only lose 1-0. Dean always working miracles.

Bruce never changes it up. Rolls out a counterattacking side and trys to nick a goal and hold on. Replace Saint-Maximin with Grealish and that Newcastle side would be damn near a duplicate of us in the championship under him. You think at some point Bruce would try something different but that's all he knows. Poor guy .

Our record was abysmal against Brentford because it was Bruce vs Dean. Wouldn't worry about that now.

Once he finds his rhythm floating around the pitch he is going to drop a dime of a through ball for an Ings or Watkins goal and we are going to go crazy lol.
