In France if you are vaccinated all you need is a negative test to return to the country. Germany still requires a quarantine but vaccinated travelers can test out if they get negative test 5 days apart. Why doesn't the UK make any distinction?

If they are then it's even more ridiculous. Really hate the players are being made out to be the bag guys when it's the dumb rule that's the actual issue.

How is it that the richest/most influential domestic league in the world can't work out some kind of deal with it's government to get their multi-million £ assets safely out and back into the country without some crazy long quarantine involved. Why cant the players be tested every couple of days or make the vaccine available to them given the nature of their work. This whole thing is bureaucratic nonsense and places the players in an impossible situation. So dumb.

Perfect example why trusting another club to develop your player isn't always the greatest idea. Hope it works out for Barry but loaning a young player out is not always the correct solution.

No way. You watched Nakamba against Watford and thought he was the better choice over young and Buendia swapping in and out in the middle. Why would Dean, a know attack minded manager, play 2 DMs at home versus a promoted side. Why would any manager do that? Actually take that back Bruce and McLeish would have been all over it. You must have loved our team selections under them.

Not the players fault the UK chose to have such strict restrictions. Villa can fine them but the players have every right to represent their country.

Credit to Dean. The 4-2-3-1 looked much better than it did versus Watford. The 3 Bs (Buendia, Bailey, Bertrand) or Watkins behind Ings is so nasty. Stupid injuries

It didn't look like his leg was planted so hopefully he avoided a serious injury. Can definitely see him missing some time. Thank God the international break is here.

Still some sloppy turnovers in the middle but he is definitely coming along. Great goal.

Given our injury list can't be mad at the result. You can definitely tell we are missing the majority of our more creative players.

Looks completely ready for the moment. Have to ensure we get him quality minutes like this throughout the season. The only issue I see he is lacking pace wise but he will only get faster as he gets older.

Carney doesn't turn 18 for another 2 months. That's crazy. He is ready. Glad we didn't bring in a MF over him and Ramsey.

Absolutely, could you imagine losing 5 -6 first teamers from the team during our first year back in the PL.
