Nah we need a Newcastle win or draw on Saturday. We needed a Chelsea win yesterday as they will need to beat Norwich on Sunday to go top.

Sunderland just want us to go down as they are sick of seeing their players forget how to play whenever we face them. Norwich fans hate us for obvious reasons and will probably blame us if they go down because we took Lambert and forced them to appoint Hughton. No idea why Fulham and Cardiff hate us. And we have to pickup no points from our last 3 games, giving us 1 draw from 9 I believe. Stark contrast to how we finished last season.

Forget about Newcastle. They haven't forgot what we done to them and will get beat. The fans maybe but Pardew and the players will want to get something from their last home game. They have been shit for weeks so will need to appease the fans, especially as losing to Cardiff doesn't really guarantee our relegation as Cardiff still need to beat Chelsea.

That is a funny thing to say.We have lost to lower league opposition in the cups and we cant beat teams like Fulham and Cardiff so what makes you think we can finish above Wigan,Leeds,Forest etc etc ?! Not really. We are a still a very big club and, with the right manager (clutches at straws), we should be one of the favourites to come back up. Why do people always say that there is a huge gulf between the Championship and Premiership when clubs get promoted, but seemingly the same doesn't apply to PL teams who go down? Personally I think there have been some odd factors this season that have contributed to our current position. Lambert and his "management team" have been woeful. However, I agree though that without a good manager we would not come back up with the current squad.

Apart from Hull, we have to play Spurs and Man $ity, so that will be at least 20 games by the end of the season. Fixed.

We also have a reason to try and beat Hull, to guarantee our safety. If Lambert can't motivate our players to do that, but Bruce can because of some petty grudge from when he was Blues manager, then Lambert doesn't deserve to manage anyone again.

We're actually better off than I thought we would be this morning. I pessimistically expected a Fulham win and a Norwich flukey point. Us losing was a given. We just need 1 point and I think we will be safe.
