Grateful that HH shared his info and knowledge. Will be sad if he is no longer able to post but understand why. I feel more educated on Lamberts plans and what he has been doing now and feel more optimistic for the future.

You can't slash a wage bill in the exteme that Lamert has and be forced to make purchases from lower leagues and expect us to improve dramatically straight away. It's an achievement in itself that we are still close to top half. Done a good job so far for what he has been asked to do.

Thanks for your post HH. I believe and trust in Lambert and your comments have helped me understand the position he faced himself with from the beginning till now. Although we would all like to be further up the table unfortunately we have had to go through this stage to get to where we want to be. I think you underestimate how many fans are behind Lambert and it is just a case of more disgruntled fans being the louder. I look forward to the rest of the season!

There were a couple of videos with Gabby in and he hasn't taken them. I reckon a friend of some of Gabby and a couple of players may have sent the videos to them and they're just attention seeking. For example, Charisma his brother... Who is to say the videos haven't been sent to him and he's made this account up? Why would Gabby make a twitter account and keep it private without anyone knowing about it? Seems a pretty pointless random thing to do and the character on there goes against the character who people say he is who have met him. Oh and they only post video's when it suits them. Never when someone asks for one (unless its him without his face in)

Beginning of season and three really tough matches. Liverpool will be fresh after a week off. Think we could risk injuries and weary legs in second half but we have three weeks off to recover. Think Liverpool will snatch it 2-1 due to Villa players tiring in second half

Not sure what that means, could be a charge of £15 per ticket to pay by finance. I used to sit 5 rows up directly behind the goal. I loved being right next to the pitch and hearing what wa going on and really felt in the game. I think you still get the atmosphere too. There's just one berk who shouts at the top of his voice and shouts every swear word under the son. I know you get swearing at matches and fully expect it but he's just crude. Can't believe no one has complained or he hasn't been chucked out yet.

We all know Mat Kendrick gets all the big stories first, well I reckon his tweet about OGS being the perfect fit for Aston Villa yesterday (which I believe was before the rife speculation started) was tweeted after being asked by the club to gauge fans opinions as they don't want the same as last year. Once they realised the fans didn't have a problem they got flights and everything sorted to get him over here. Mat hasn't said that about anyone else has he? No big breaking news but yeah! Ayway I think it's a done deal too.

I'm not as far down the line as you but I know what you mean. I think it is more the fact of how football is nowadays in general rather than what's happening at Villa. I would stop going to the Villa if we turned in to a Man City or a Chelsea but unless a team does then it has no chance of being anywhere near the top of the table. Which is really sad for about 16 teams in the Prem. That and the image of the Prem and how it has gone global and the money and the people who play the game and sky and just everything to do with it is pushing me away from the game at the moment.
