I travelled from Kidderminster by car and took 2 hours! Got off the M5 at West Brom and everybody had the same idea. That island and the road into Villa was gridlocked. Missed first 15 minutes and was royally pissed off.

Remember when we were pissed off at missing out on Gladwin and Luongo? Yeah me neither... Absolutely cracking signing. I can't wait to see him strutting his stuff at VP. He looks so explosive and strong, and top class dribbling ability. Such an exciting signing.

Can't see it personally. They've already lost out on Alderweireld to Spurs, that's who they're looking at replacing the gap for, without losing their other first choice centre back, and their captain. I think he'd be a quality signing if it did happen. Out of interest does he play left side or right at centre back?

But if they activate the buy back clause, can we then insert a buy back clause to buy back Traore, after they've bought him back from us via the clause? But in all seriousness, I don't see the buy back clause as an issue. It's them getting first dibs on him should he turn out to be world class, and if he does we've done well to buy him for the fees being bandied about.

My money is on him being top scorer for us this season. I think he will be a monster.

The only thing Senderos was guilty of last season was being injured. When he played he was rock solid and passionate, and he surprised a lot of people. I think he would be good to have around this season as an experienced head, it would be a shame to see him go.

Gestede and Ade will lap up those types of crosses from Amavi. Absolute peach of a ball! Gueye looks good and Ayew looks bright and an intelligent runner.
