My Liverpool supporting thinks it a great bit of deal to sign Klopp on so long. When I pointed out that he was one of the who laughed so much at Pardews contract, he said that this is different but it has clauses etc in, but allows the club to build, plus if he moves clubs they'll get a big pay out... Without turning this into a Lambert thread... What a complete load of tosh. Bowery had NEVER been a good player. His record was appalling at low league. Irrelevant of any budget we had, Bowery was not going to become a good player. The most random signing ever.

If palace get Benteke they'll already be over £50, west ham will probably follow suit, the likes of man city and chelsea are probably going to be close to 120m, with utd probably going to be over 200m. It is quite feasible, let's not forget we were close to 50m last yr and look where that got us. All gross spend not net.

Tommy Hitz was on talk sport this morning. Seems very knowledgable about the game and obviously can speak very good English. If avfc tv sorts itself out he'd make a very good pundit.
