Somehow kept winding up with the ball at the top of their box in the second half, but precisely the one player you don't want there. Maybe desperate to make something happen, but needed to be told to just stay back and sit.

Davis is young, prone to injury and more in the "bring others into play, harass defenders" mold at this point in his development, rather than a player you bring on to score, so I think we may see Baston more than might be expected for reasons both practical and tactical. Also, I hope he smashes it in training, gets into the side and scores 15 goals before the season is over, because why wouldn't I?

Don't know what Frank de Boer and/or the recruitment team are going for, but I don't like the looks of it so far. Critical players and major fan favorites leaving left and right, mostly replaced with journeymen if at all. Letting Gressel go to a conference rival for allocation money just because he wanted a deservedly improved contract is shambolic, for instance. It feels like a completely unnecessary rebuild of a team that's made the playoffs three years straight and won it once, instead of just strengthening around the core that was already in place.

Watched Spam v Liverpool the other night and he was the only one they had trying to do a damn thing, I'd take him back happily just to have him in the squad, especially if Jota is going out on loan.

Shambolic team selection, but nothing whatsoever from 90% of the players regardless of setup. Will we ever learn how to find our own players when trying to get the ball out of the box? City are several classes above, sure, but it never seems to matter who we play, we just give them the ball back over and over and over and over and over and over. -
Should've known, we absolutely have to maintain our record of letting opponents break records.

This, Konsa could've/should've clearly seen that Leicester's man was coming right up behind Luiz and he would've had no option anyway but to go straight back to Konsa. We did a few silly things from free kicks, like when we had one out wide and sent everyone up, then Jack and Conor just kinda fiddled around with it, lost it and got us caught on the break.

We do **** all from corners, throw-ins and crosses. Maybe should've hyphenated. When was the last throw-in we had that led to something, even? That time Sidwell played ballboy and Milner scored against... Hull maybe?

Lichaj was a right back, but we have been known to deploy right backs on the left... or everywhere else for that matter.

Only caught the second half, but looks a fraction of the player he was when he came into the side. Beaten every time, can't/won't tackle, forgotten how to pass, et cetera. Something is wrong.
