the demise of our club wont be fixed in 1 january window thats for sure,its clear that the owners are happy to throw £ at the playing staff to get promotion. getting rid of westwood for 5-6m is great business,the new midfield will gel soon, villa main problems are the teams we play have been together for some time now, the are limited but effective, they dont have a owner who can bring in 4 players etc, bruce will get it right long term.no point in changing him,hes proven the club still has some dead beats on its books & the sooner they are gone the better.

i have never heard of some of the players we are linked with. dont know if thats good or bad thing, i guess the club / owner/manager are thinking shall we get the players in for a real crack at promotion next year or fill in the blanks & gamble on the play offs. i think walters of stoke will be a great start, thats the sort of player this team needs
