With the government today cancelling the under 5000 gathering limit pilot scheme...i cannot see any fans being allowed back into stadiums this year. The whole structure of football,tv money and advertising is going to change hugely over the coming weeks. Massive upturn in covid cases all over europe does not bode well for anyone. I can see the FA extending TV rights to the BBC etc for a much bigger audience and that will be conducive to much higher advertising revenues and the "drinks break" will also be used as an advertising platform in some way to bring in more revenue. The huge sums of money for players for next season is not sustainable in the current climate..its only a matter of time until smaller clubs go under and this will have a massive effect on the bigger teams spending power

I totally agree with your sentiment on samatta..I cannot understand people on these forums who support samatta and want to "give him a chance". The spine of the Team we need to build around cannot afford to have any dead weight..the time for carrying players is over.Its time to get serious because we cannot allow ourselves to be in a relegation battle next season

Whilst i agree with most of your comment delphinho123,I think Davis needs to be loaned out to learn how to be clinical and to build confidence. Wesley..well its yet to be seen how the injury has affected him..it could easily be 2021 before we see him anyway. 2 strikers would be my prefered option..one a marquee signing and the other who could take his place/join him up top whatever the tactics of the day require We simply cannot make the mistakes we made last summer.. We need competition for places and with the 5 man sub seemingly going to be a permanent thing in the league we need a decent bench too.
