    I cant honestly see us winning this..and its a real 6 pointer at the very least... with newkie signing half of france in the past few days also its looking bleak. I hope there is someone out their putting villa through their defensive set pieces someone preferably with size 20 boots and a whip:-p,cos if not every free kick newcastle get will be a goal:-(

    With Newcastles new signings this week do any villa fans really expect us to beat them? i mean every team out there knows we are on our knees now,we cant defend,our midfield is a disaster,weimann and benteke are our only spark of encouragement. I was all for lambert when he came to our club,but looking back the last few weeks his decision making has been shocking and im very sure he is unable to give the players the lift they need.

    I was under the impression that chelski managers had a clause in there contracts. That when the contract came to an end/was ended, that the manager could not manage in the same league for a period of 12 months. anybody else know anything about this?. ps id like to see david moyes as the new villa manager:-)

    General..in a few weeks all this malarkey about what randy and yourself should have,could have and didnt say... will be a distant memory. The vast majority of the fanbase will be back enjoying the best of what this football club has to offer. Football being the game it is, has its "fickle" fans,and villa has its fair share of those as well. I just want to say general that the way you deal and answer all these posts,wether good intentioned ones or the just plain rude ones, stands to you,your replies exude honesty and i can see they are from somebody who holds my club in high esteem. semper fi and UTV!

    A major improvement i must say. midfield looked solid,defence was excellent. friedel and collins for me joint motm flashes of greatness from albrighton..this lad has a very bright future.(hope they dont sell him next season, sigh) Overall despite what a few fickle fans are saying,it was a great result for the club and the players.
