    the thoughts of being stuck with samatta,a crocked wesley and tactically dead davis fills me with dread even in the championship. The fact of the matter is that the team needs to be rebuilt and trying to do that in the championship will be nigh on impossible,what quality player will want to come play in the championship from abroad? If we do happen to go up in one season again,where does that leave us? panic buy like last time and go straight back down?..Unless something drastically changes in the way the club is run i can see us staying in the championship for another 3 seasons

    I think we are going to see a major reduction in prem clubs spending on players during this covid situation. Jadon sancho was being touted a while back at close to 100m..and now you have teams saying no more than 50m I think it is time for jack to leave...we will be lucky to get 50m with addons The rebuild of the squad needs to happen soon and moving away from jack grealish utd cant happen sooner for me.

    you are a little niave if you think that the players are not to blame..so many personal mistakes from them,you say you cant expect the players to give 110%..well i do expect them to do so at a minimum..they need to show pride in the club and the shirt,i have not seen that with this bunch of mercenaries el ghazi,trez,nakamba,hause and one or two others are the worst "footballers" i have ever seen at my club..I have said this from the start that whoever scouted these players and hired them should just fall on his sword

    Im of the opinion that when we do get relegated we need to wipe the slate clean..get rid of all the players that cant be arsed and rebuild a team in the championship for a couple of seasons,and then come back up with a solid core which we can add too to compete in the premier league...Its just never going to work if we stay up with the systems and people that are running the club at the moment

    Im sure that sacking smith is one thing in the media..but can you imagine the headlines in all the rags about "villa sack england hero john terry" That publicity is one the club does not want,hence when smith is sacked on saturday evening they will keep terry in some role..
