@chrisp65 as much as I love musical theatre, and my father was always convinced I loved musical theatre too much. What I have seen of this its not for me, but it may be for you.

I emailed a friend yesterday, a friend I had lost touch with to tell him about this album as it hits many spots for him. I sent a rather glib email about hoping that the virus wasnt causing too much trouble. His father had died the previous day from it. Ouch. He thanked me for the recommendation though. So there is that.

Growing up, even though I didn't live in Shrewsbury, if you said 40 Wyle Cop to the people of Telford or Shrewsbury, most people knew what it was. When I was 17 and went in to buy erotic literature, that was my first experience of a sex shop. In the 80s at least, there was nothing sexy about a sex shop.

Clifford T Ward is an undiscovered, or at the very least forgotten, gem. One of the finest british songwriters. I think I was 17 when I first heard Clifford T Ward. There was an all night thing on BBC 2 the night of the General Election. It was on the history of the misoc video and they played Home Thoughts from abroad as an example of a TOTP made music video.
