    Stuart Pearce is terrible, anyone would know that watching the U21's. He jobs is to put as many big players in one side and play hoof ball. Works v most teams but technically superior came along and destroyed us.

    Dzeko is the perfect signing for them unfortunately, all season they've been putting balls into the box and no-one has been there. I believe their only headed goal this season was against us. With them in a good position already, Dzeko could give them a real chance of winning the title if he settles in well although I think he could affect the role Tevez plays slightly.

    Loved Black Swan too, fantastic cinematography and score. Portman deserves an oscar for her performance, I don't understand why people say she can't act I think she's excellent. The scene with her and Mila Kunis was great

    I thought he was a lot more confident yesterday, ball seemed to be glued to his feet and they couldn't seem to tackle him. Also worked a lot harder, if he keeps it up then he will keep getting the chances he's getting.

    He's a confident lad, despite his underhit backpass he shrugged it off and got on with the game. Also got a bit of a bollocking from Friedel for seeing to Modric with his supposed cramp, so again what does he do he bursts into the box and nearly gets an equaliser. Physically there is no doubt he can make it in this league, and most of his decisions so far have been the right ones. I'm certainly more confident with Lichaj then I am with Warnock on the other side.

    Any midfielder would struggle when the movement was so static up front. All he could do was pass to feet. Nathan had the odd run behind but Gabby played with his back to goal far too often.

    Bale has the ability to produce world class performances but not on a consistent basis. So to say he is world class is total bollocks, although that is expected as of now... This Inter performance keeps getting highlighted but if Mourinho was in charge there is no way that would have happened. Inter were unorganised and Maicon was constantly isolated with Bale. What did Benitez do? Nothing. So Spurs kept exploiting and it worked. World class players are those who perform on a consistent basis and have the ability to conjure something out of nothing.

    There's no doubt he has had some tough moments in his life, and so do many other people. It is no reason for him constantly act like a petulant child. If he doesn't meet his 'potential' because of this he only has himself to blame. I don't condone Mourinho's man management of him at times, but under Mancini he has no need to kick up a fuss, as Mancini no doubt looks after him.

    Seems to be getting better... Thought he did well when he came on today, won a lot of flick ons towards Young and some of his movement was excellent. Hopefully he can keep it up.

    Haha that's the funnest post I've seen on these forums as yet. Past 2 seasons you say? Didn't Collins Dunne Warnock come in last season? This season we didn't buy anyone because we had....Wait for it....We had NO MANAGER TO BUY THE PLAYERS. Ignore him, he only comes out his cave when we lose or blow a lead. Just look at his post history. Starting to wonder if he's a Villa fan if he can't have at least one good thing to say.

    I agree, when teams like Atletico and Arsenal had notable interest I think for the player he'd have been better of developing at that type of club. The boys a fantastic talent, and needs regular football not playing half a season.
