i'm always sceptical of these things but there are a few holes you can pick in this: luton are at home (as mentioned by others) such an important doc that's under press embargo but just happens to have GW1 fixtures on the front page official document that refers to teams as 'man utd' rather than 'manchester united' and someone just happens to be carrying it around under his arm, with said fixtures facing out, and someone managed to whip their phone out and grab a pretty clear photo i think us and wolves tend to both play at home don't we? as WBA and blues are then both then at home tomorrow morning there will be some legit leaks prior to 9am but best ignore everything until then. there's a guy that leaks early team news throughout the season for the FPL community that reckons he'll have them at 8am

considering one of the common criticisms of purslow was "he gave gerrard too much power in the transfer market" it's surprising that so many on twitter are rejoicing in this news i'm hoping that it's not "emery is doing everything" and more a case of "the team of recruitment analysts, sporting director, coaches and personal assistants that were selected by emery are doing everything"

the funny thing is is that this isn't one of the clubs the PIF recently bought so they've not got silly money or any of the good players

i think the difference in statement when gerrard got sacked vs this statement of purslow resigning including the nice words from NWSE indicates that everything amicable IMO

it was difficult to read those considering the utter dross we've had over the years and really the only foot he's put wrong was to appoint gerrard. people have short memories. anyway sounds like they're basically giving emery the keys to the castle and purslow knows he's capable of more. i can see him on the PL board or something similar.
