  1. MOTM imo, ran the show and getting better by the game. How did Boro fans not rate this guy? We've robbed them blind.
  2. Honestly, they have a right to be mad. Should have at least 2/3 of those given. The third is stonewall
  3. Bloody hell. One regular day of Barclays.
  4. Udogie has had surgery and is out for the rest of the season.
  5. I take full responsibility for this jinx
  6. Is beating Arsenal our life purpose now or something?
  7. I talked to a mate from Australia the other day about the Canberra expansion, there have been unknown delays in the bid but he thinks it's progressing. Apparently this is the sixth attempt to get a Canberra men's team off the ground, which bodes well. There were concerns that Canberra United, the only professional team in the area (in their women's league) would be a victim of the delay and go bust, as the state-owned company that runs it doesn't want to fund them anymore. It appears they've found a short-term solution for now. He assumed the consortium that would come in (presumably involving V Sports as a minority partner) would take them over. Does sound like a bit of a mess, hopefully it'll get sorted.
  8. They're quite heavily in debt and their new owner has been rejected by the Netherlands FA, I believe.
  9. It's just jealousy. Although given they're the club who retired the shirt number of a kid who didn't even play a full season worth of games for them, I suppose they'd be experts on being small-time... Mate.
  10. Sunak plans to tackle unemployment. Is he going set up programmes to help particularly younger people into work? Incentivise training and encourage businesses to do the same? No, he's going to stop GPs from being able to sign people off work to tackle 'sick note culture'. And of course, good old fashioned stripping of benefits. Of course, said 'sick note culture' is a complete myth: EDIT: Was wondering what all this talk was clearly hiding. Turns out they're about to gut PIP. JFC.
  11. He's definitely more effective centrally, although I think ultimately he just had a really bad day at the office. It happens. And we were the winners in the end, so he can move on from that pretty easily.
  12. All our midfielders blanked tonight (McGinn was shocking), referee as usual in European competitions was atrocious, but who cares? We're in the semi-finals of a European competition having beat probably the 2nd strongest team in this competition. UTV
  13. Anna Leat has been given a straight red after 4 minutes for handling the ball outside the penalty area. Sophia Poor makes her debut...
  14. Go even further. Can you print off all 363 pages of this thread and go through it with Heck, one page at a time? Then you can beg him to tell us about Villa Park's long-term future. It might convince him.
  15. I just think it's crazy that 8 years ago, people in here were discussing the possibility of demolishing the North Stand/creating an all-year round entertainment complex. Now it's 2024 and people are discussing the possibility of demolishing the North Stand/creating an all-year round entertainment complex. In 8 years time, what will we be discussing? If it's about the possibility of demolishing the North Stand/creating an all-year round entertainment complex then I think we'll go crazy This thread is fun tonight.
  16. The RCS Numbers are B226546 for V Sports SCS and B282877 for the GP Sarl one: maybe searching it using that will work?
  17. Yes, through Trade and Company Register on the Luxembourg Business Register: https://www.lbr.lu/mjrcs/jsp/IndexActionNotSecured.action?time=1713299140518&loop=1 You'll have to connect as an anonymous user on the top left before you can search for a filing.
  18. The filings of the V Sports companies on the Luxembourg Business Register indicate that Atairos have taken up a 21.2% stake (255,500 out of the 1,200,000 shares) in V Sports GP Sarl, the newly formed ultimate parent company (as if we needed MORE). Sawiris and Edens evenly split the remaining shares, so they have 39.4% each. I think. Unfortunately, the documents are in French.
  19. The only chance he had of successfully disassociating himself with the Tories was when he threatened to resign after they cancelled HS2: and he bottled it. So his entire campaign revolving around separating himself from the party just looks pathetic now. Everyone knows that when push comes to shove that he'll fold.
