  1. And what happens to the people who do need to see the doctor but can't afford the fee
  2. I was being a bit naughty comparing the two to be fair. The Yanks game was against TB and the Mets game was against the Phillies with Santana pitching!! Not fair I know. And like you a visit to Citi for me was like a pilgrimage so my objectivity went out the window. But I still think it was the best atmosphere I have experienced at a baseball game and that includes gm 4 of the NLDS between Rangers and BJs this year. My best atmosphere at any sports event in the US was probably at MSG for Rangers v Coyotes in 2002. Rangers 0-2 and got it back to 2-2 just before the end. Went on to win 3-2 in overtime and the place went mental
  3. Well I have home field advantage going into the play offs
  4. One thing to come out of this in my opinion. Football is well and truly gone
  5. Coughlin not returning by all accounts
  6. It's all going a bit Pete Tong for the Jets Bloody typical
  7. I went to Yankee Stadium and Citi within a couple of days of each other. Yankees first. The atmosphere felt a bit flat. I wouldn't say it was a bad experience just felt nowhere near as good as at the Mets game. The crowd were not as involved in the game and I got the same sort of feeling that I get when visiting any massively successful team, a sense of entitlement to win. And certainly around where I was sat there seemed to be a lot of "tourist" fans Now i'm not saying a visit to Yankee stadium wouldn't be a great experience for a one off. It definitely would. Just as a visit to Old Trafford or The Allianz Arena would.
  8. Is that allowed. A Giants fan liking the Jets? Or do you just see us as the little neighbours. A bit like Villa fans see Walsall
  9. The MLS would also be on. LA Galaxy and the 2 New York teams may well have a game on. I went to a game in October at FC Dallas and it was well worth a watch
  10. I just know the Jets are going to be Jet like and screw it up. I hope the Giants lose so I will have someone to cheer against in the Twickenham game!
  11. On the first point I agree On the second point I half agree
  12. They have no need to know the time. It's not like they have to know what time to get to work
  13. Plenty of choice for Baseball then. Padres in SD. Dodgers and Angels in LA. Giants and Oakland A's in the Bay Area. Then in NY you have The Evil Empire and the mighty New York Metropolitans I have been to 4 of those and would recommend Giants (nice stadium by the bay, easy to get to) Oakland A's not so much (bit of a faff to get to and the stadium has seen better days. In NY The Yankees for the tourist value and the Mets for a better blue collar baseball experience But whichever one you end up at I would recommend it for the experience of something uniquely American
  14. Just imagine if he comes off the bench to score the winner. VT would implode with all the "see told you he was worth a go" or "good goal but he's still sh1t" comments
  15. I just woke up. I dreamt Kozak actually got a place on the bench.
  16. But Liverpool are everyone's second favourite team so technically their fanbase is much higher
  17. Whereabouts will you be. Can give you a heads up about your possibilities then But basically Baseball or MLS
