    Newcastle have become masters of the dark arts too. Howe always has one assistant tasked with being in the fourth officials ear all game, for example. Will no doubt be a difficult game. But they will be the favourites, which isn’t a bad thing.

    After his first game, when we beat Man U at Villa Park, some were surprised when Unai went straight down the tunnel. That’s his style - let the players celebrate with the fans, he’s got work to do.

    The first few games he got caught out repeatedly, committing to win the ball instead of holding his position. Also seemed to lose every single duel. But he’s improved very quickly (and adds so much going forward, as we all know by now)

    Ollie is now at joint 6th top scorer in the league, same number of goals as Salah and Saka. Not bad.

    That’s one of the perks with Emery. If we somehow sneak into a european competition, he will bloody win it.

    I hope we can win as many as we lose. If we can win 3, lose 3 and get a couple of draws it would be an excellent end to the season, considering the difficult games coming up.

    Villa have been very ambitious since NSWE came in, but strangely enough we didn’t go for an elite manager until now. What a difference that made eh?
