    The Ramsey brothers are Villa’s equivalent to Arsenal’s Hale End academy kids. They’re worth their weight in gold to Villa, being top talents, lovely lads and club fans since birth.

    I’m increasingly convinced Alemany is a word removed. But instead of being happy the word removed isn’t coming, I’m worried about a potential messy summer window. It’s May 17, Emery and Alemany will have had discussions for months. Now what? Back to Lange’s spread sheet?

    Exactly, it’s not just Gerrard. CP has brought in some other questionable football people as well. As for Lange, we’ll see how much input he’ll be allowed to have going forward.

    Brighton are better than Liverpool, so wouldn’t it technically be more Villa to beat Brighton after losing at Anfield?

    People keep underestimating them, ”they’re good but not THAT good”. Yes they are that good. On performance levels in 2023, I’d say they’re second best after Man City. I know Villa have great stats against them but we haven’t played them since the RDZ magic really kicked in after the World cup. Give us a miracle on the final day Unai!

    I’m sure Lopetegui would absolutely love to beat Emery. They’re from the same little village in the Basque country for God’s sake.

    Impossible for Barca to match the proposal from Villa. Wow. And gulp.

    At Barcelona his job was to create a team that could compete, and because reasons mainly through free transfers. That means high player wages (we have it too with Kamara). He hasn’t worked that way before, as far as I know, and probably won’t at Villa.

    He won’t suddenly sign a bunch of superstars to Villa. We’re not Barcelona and I’m sure Alemany understands that as well.

    I have a good feeling about this. His work at previous clubs is excellent. Barca has been a madhouse run by insane club presidents.

    He doesn’t seem ready. Lots of talent but really immature. Somewhat strange January signing when we needed someone who could do a job right away.
