Make sure you keep us up to date!
  2. In all fairness, unless he is injured, he is a cert for the Euro squad. And with Rooney out, and no-one else firing who is in contention, he should be fine. However I'd echo Richard's point about not blaming him for being pissed off, I have a lot of sympathy for him.
  3. I've recently moved to Lancashire.. I've been to Bolton city/town centre ... its a craphole... give them a break
  4. You leave Nigel and Gary alone... !
  5. QPR won't be near the relegation zone come the end of the season, from what I hear they are going to bring in more players in January, well that's what I thought the general consensus was. I'd be looking at Blackburn, Bolton and Swansea. Although, I think clubs are already circling around the best players like Samba and Hoilett, so if they get some cash in, they might be able to invest it wisely.
  6. Yeah I agree, I thought Walcott was really bad when everyone was raving about him, but he seems to have improved recently, and he scares defenders... although I'm not sure he'll have the room on the International stage, that he seems to get in the PL. I must say, the Jones thing, was the last role I could fill, I was even tempted to say Barry - but frankly I would not cry a tear if he got injured beforehand and was ruled out. In a couple of years, I'd see Rodwell there, but I do think Jones will be an automatic starter soon for England. Oh and Subs: 1) GK??! Can we just protect Hart? 2) Richards 3) Cahill/Terry 4) Milner 5) A. Johnson 6) Crouch/Carroll (Plan 7) Sturridge Okay that subs bench kinda sucks.
  7. I don't think Gerrard will be going to Euro 2012, and I'm doubtful Frank will have a starting role. My starting line up would be (Minus Rooney): Hart Walker - Jagielka - Lescott - Cole Parker - Jones Walcott - Wilshere - Young Bent All depending on injuries of course.
  8. This is about as likely as me waking up with Eva Mendes tomorrow morning. No I wouldnt change my mind if we got six as it would leave on 22 points half way through the season and we should be on more. I think its more likely we will have 3 points from those games at a push RE: Eva Speak for yourself... ... Yeah you're right.
  9. Poor Ghana, I bet they hate him more.
  10. I can't believe Bent is getting stick... He had two international class players setting him up last year, now he doesn't. What do people expect?
  11. No... but there's no chance he'll go this season.
  12. I'm a big fan of Carroll, I think he offers a lot. I just don't think he and Suarez fit.
  13. I'm quite looking forward to Summer 2012 personally - both Euro 2012 and this whole Team GB football team. In regards to Euro 2012 - Group A is a bit of a disappointment, and I won't take time out to watch the games. Group B is a great group, I think one of the best games of the tournament will be Netherlands against Germany. Group C is brilliant, and I will be supporting Ireland as well, hopefully Given and Dunne can do themselves proud. Group D is the third worst group in my opinion for entertainment, England and France will be the ones everyone expects to go through. We always seem to get Sweden in these things, and I'd like for us to actually beat them for once. Unfortunately I can't see Bent doing it in the championships, and without Rooney for the first 3 games, I do worry about our chances. But we will have a good squad, even if it will be lacking Villa players.
  14. I like the way we're slowing falling down the table... and we haven't even played Spurs, Liverpool, Man Utd, Arsenal or Chelsea in this half of the season... Christmas is going to hurt this year. January = huge month.
  15. Although saying that, people are expecting a cricket score when Man City play Wolves later.... it goes without saying, we'll be last again. In other news, Sky Sports have had some crackers this season: 8-2, 6-1, 5-3, all including the top 5 clubs. Wow.
  16. Gabby twice eh?? I agree. Let's get two of Gabby, and let's play Clark instead of 'clarke'. dakid007 is a genius
  17. I think we should try Clark in a DCM position, he played well there last year, and offers support and height in defence, as well as some attacking threat. So the 5 can stay in defence, giving some fluidity to the remaining 5 outfield players I wonder if a 4-1-4-1 would work, if 2 of the 4 in midfield offered support to the striker? The way Everton used to play with Carsley/Neville I think between midfield and defence.
  18. Poor crossbar challenge! (what the hell is the above comment about haha?)
  19. Perfectly fine with that. 38, 1-0 wins
  20. Apparently, I'm still living in the dark ages of 1999.
  21. A lot of people, about 5 or 10 years ago went for the 'safe' option and bought some shares in banks. However, nowadays only the top top banks are worth getting shares in. Buy some shares in Villa I haven't personally bought any shares, however back in the day I did work experience at a FTSE100 company called 3i, thats based by the NEC off the Cov Road. Not sure how they are doing nowadays though.
  22. You in fact get 10 francs for getting me to Google him. However you now owe me 15 francs for slander...
