Yeah played it to completion here. I would say some really good points tempered by some areas of the game that weren't to my personal liking. However I would recommend it to anyone, good game overall and i can I imagine some people loving it. Would give it a solid 7/10 personally.

Just watched the highlights, i lol'd at the moment he intercepted the ball in the box, the Derby player tried to close him down, Hause did a let step over flick back, the Derby player fell over in confusion, and Hause just passed it out. Love this guy its at 7m 56s of the official villa highlights if anyone is interested. Hause also did some lovely passing from the back, the one down towards the left wing with the outside of his left foot was very nice (1m 8s of the highlights), really impressed with him tbh.

any news on Elphick? A bit concerning as that would mean Hause goes to CB and Taylor back in at LB (noooooooo!), or Chester comes back if hes fit?!!?

Maybe Carroll will be Grealishs replacement on 60 mins or so? Would like to see Carroll and Grealish in the starting 11 at some point tbh.

I agree that it was a terrible choice, Jankovic had them playing good football and got them promoted, yeah they were struggling in the prem but they bought a lot of new players, he prob would habe for them straight back up also if they got relegated. Some nuts decisions out there, like Leicester sacking ranieri 6 months after he won the prem, jist mind bogglingly stupid.

I think him and hause are really showing potential. (Obviously hause had a bit of a mare first couple of games, bit he looks pretty good also now, seems he has settled a bit and is more comfortable in the team)

There is a story that says he wouldn't join us permanently unless we are in the prem, not sure if true.

He did habe a few on the youth players training with the senior team, and then he sent some of them out on loan to harden up/learn how to handle men's football.

Personally I would like to see Grealish and Carroll as the foward midfield two, then let whelan and hourihane compete for the DM role until Mcginn is back.

So you didn't watch the games where our style and attacking play was as good as anything I have seen in the last 10 years? Is that not potential to you??

Thought he looked good versus stoke. Hause and Mings look really good for the left side of our back four, I really hope we can sign them both in the summer, but I'm not holding my breath. If we could, add Guilbert to that and Kalinic, and maybe Chester, and our back line is sorted. Jist need a really good DMC and the whole defensive portion of the team is nailed on pretty much.

Disgusting, I can see how that would turn someone against a club tbh. I read a very interesting article about Jay Boothroyd (not sure how his surname is spelt), about his time playing on Japan and the very very different culture over there. Not saying it's good or bad, but was an insightful read.

Dont Worry, as long as Hourihane plays for Villa, we will never have any issues in that regard And Elmo, Whelan, Jedi, Thor, Kodjia etc etc etc, Villa fans arent picky And the real hardcore ones have Dean Smith also.......

Picks up bad knee Injury, Elmo now our only fit RB, 6 weeks ago our whole back line was nearly made up of RB's. Bree is out on loan now. Lol couldnt make this stuff up

I really hope we sign him in the summer, but the problem I see is with performing so well, either his parent club will want to keep him or someone else will come in for him.

But we do have the best squad in the league because it's the highest paid squad AND the most expensively assembled one, and those salaries and transfer fees were extremely well spent. :taps head with finger and winks:

He wasn't a desperation move at all, in his villa interview he specifically stated that he was aware of the possible transfer 3 to 4 weeks prior, which would mean the start of Jan. It can't have been a rush on transfer deadline either as when the Fer deal fell through there wouldn't habe been enough time for medical and travel etc, so they must have been working on the deal alongside Fer. I could be wrong but I get the Impression we were in for Fer AND Carroll, but only Carroll came off.
