well, thats debatable, but yes it certainly could be the possible starting 11. I suppose the debate from that 11 (for me at least), is Luiz vs McGinn vs Sanson (for the Luiz spot), and Ings vs Watkins. But ye, completely agree its correct or close to correct for the best 11.

we wont though, Gerrard plays 433 (4321) type formation. Literally no point in citing other formations m8, as the base/most used formation (not trying to be a d*** - just stating the fact is all). Although, the players you note above would also fit just fine in to the 433/4321 formation np.

i really think that whatever Gerrard's team looks like after the Jan & summer window, i think he is one of only a few players who imo will still be in the starting in a starting 11 of a team deemed "pushing for the top 6 / 8". (ie: imo one of only 4 or 5 players in the current squad who are actually good enough to be a starter in a team wanting to challenge for top 6/8)

i find this window fascinating. In 5 years we have gone from signing Nyland, Carroll, Bree, Onomah, Tshibola, Elphick, Adomah, De laet, McCormack, Hogan etc etc........... TO..... in the last couple of years........Bailey, Buendia, Digne, Coutinho, Ings, Mings, Martinez, Cash, Konsa etc etc.... AND...... Seriously debating whether a Uruguayan International with 45 caps, having played 133 times for Juventus.......is quite good enough for our central midfield. What a time to be alive

wonder if he will get his long awaited debut.... They are playing Chile on 28/01 & Colombia on 01/02, Top 4 qualify for the World Cup from the South American WC qually league thingy, with 4 games left to play, so that means Argentina have already qualified i think, so he might get a debut in this international break?

i doubt we could get change out of the salary though. And tbh, Kamara is being tracked by some big teams afaik, so we might be looking a bit above our pay grade there, who knows.

apart from the fact he's with the Brazil squad for the games on 27/2 & 02/02, but that could also act like some sort of mini pre season i suppose.
