Price will always depend on how badly the buyer wants something. If Ole decides he wants Jack like he did with Maguire then 80 is not out of the question. Man U & Man C are probably the only two clubs in the Prem that could afford to pay that kind of money though. Tottenham are too cheap to pay what Jack is worth.
I think quite a few Premier League clubs would be interested in him. He would benefit greatly from from a Carlo Ancelloti or a Jose Mourinho type manager.
Were Brighton to go down I think quite a few Premier league clubs would be interested in him. He would make a great impact 60 minute sub when a team was down by one.
I agree with Benitez as he would stress defence but wether he could implement a system in such a short time is debatable. It would depend on if the team are prepared to buy in. For me i would give fat Sam a million for the last eight games & a million bonus for survival.
I've missed it terribly & was excited to set the alarm for 5.00am knowing I would spend my Saturday morning watching Footy. Even without the crowds & the results not being what I wanted I still enjoyed it.
I personally think he would do well at Leicester playing alongside Jonny Evans. He wouldn't be the main man and this would allow him to improve his game. I feel being the number one at Villa has worn him down this season.I said in another post that he would have benefitted from Cahill coming back for a season.
Wes Morgan is pretty much a cheer leader these days !!
I still think Mings has the capabilities to be a very good defender. I don't think Smith accentuates the defensive side of the game and Mings has suffered from this.
. I feel he will move clubs and shine playing for a more defensive minded team.
That's a shame as I think Cahill would have really improved Mings game. Centre Back is a position that needs experience and he could have stabilized the back-four
I was referring to the stamp. I had no problem with his game today & really don't feel there was attempt to injure on his contact with Leno. I have been watching football for sixty years now and believe we are pussyifing the game.
Football still remains a contact sport.
Good football players bring a high level of intensity to their game, the problem can be that very fine line between intensity & aggression ! We have seen players cross the line before and it isn't pretty. The reverse is a player like Mesut Ozil who it seems plays without any passion. I like Maupay's passion but he needs to tone down the aggression.
Norwich are now done & in my opinion there are five teams in competition for the last two spots. Villa, Watford, West Ham, Bournemouth & Brighton. I don't see Newcastle getting drawn back into the mix.
