Southgate goes with the name only, he loves a big name & a big club. I would take Ollie Watkins over those two on any team I was putting together.

Watching him after he has been substituted leads me to believe he is a bit of a knob. I think there is better value out there for £20 mil.

I'm pretty certain Chelsea paid approximately £20-25 mill for him in 2018 so I'm sure they would listen to £20 mil. It all depends which Ross Barkley you get.

Ollie Watkins is a very, very good striker who in my opinion will only get better next season. I would take Ollie over Tammy every day of the week, OW will turn out to be a complete strike while TA is a bit limited. My only regret with Ollie Watkins is that Leicester did not sign him. Oh Well !!

Not just the chance to sign for Villa but the opportunity to impress Chelsea & the other top Premier League clubs. He is definitely no longer an England candidate & will struggle to get even a decent loan next season. I guess being a multi-millionaire at 27 removes the urgency for some players. Lingard got the chance & kicked the door down.
