Has to go now, there is no excusing this. We’ve put up with his shite for too long, he has messed up too often. I am done being patient and hoping that we will improve, progress and achieve anything under this manager. Time for change is NOW.

No defenders signed. Latest signings were El Ghazi, Bolasie & Abraham. We’ve definitely strengthened in attacking areas. McGinn helps us in that regard too. Defence is worrying, we failed to sign a LB or CB. I think we NEED to sign Terry or Huth now (not aware of any better option available on a free, someone brought up a Reyes??) or we leave ourselves very vulnerable... Not sure on Caulker, must be a reason why he “failed” at QPR & Dundee. I would guess something do with attitude or (lack of) professionalism? Used to be highly rated...

Certainly spoke the most sense amongst them lot, hope he has the same kind of passion and ambition for our club...

What?! Really? Destroying Wolves has to be the highlight so far, today doesn’t compare to that, at least imo. Was a very entertaining game though (which makes a pleasant change) and there were definitely signs of encouragement. Glad to have Kodjia back on form, I’ve always loved his hunger for goals and he will be a real asset this season. Very excited by the El Ghazi & Bolasie signings! If we can get a proper CB, LB and CF in, before the end of the month, then I think we have a real chance of challenging for automatic promotion...

KODJIAAAAAA!!!!! He’s back!! Great game but we deserved a win. Need to be more clinical and create clear chances. Hopefully the 2 new boys will make a big difference. Oh and McGinn is the man.

Is Sarkic still with the squad? I read/heard that he was going on loan to Charlton but then Steer went there (instead?).

Agreed, he’s only going to continue to improve and is a unique talent.

Would love to see this but I think I’m dreaming, can’t see Bruce playing such an attacking team but, if we we got the right players in, we should be able to blow most teams away in this division. New Striker Kodjia/Green. New WF/Adomah Grealish Hourihane/DM McGinn New LB New CB. Chester. De Laet Nyland Hutton & Elmo are decent backup but not good enough to be starters for a promotion chasing team imo. Suspect and error prone defensively. I wouldn’t mind letting either of them leave but they are useful for squad depth and options. I would like to see Bree more involved too, if not then allowed to leave on loan. Tuanzebe gives us decent defensive cover, at CB preferably. Could rotate regularly with either CB. I would like to see us sell Jedinak, too old, slow and injury & error prone. Whelan is ok for DM cover and Bjarnason gives us options. Strikers are injured except for RHM who would work better as a WF in our team, a good option off the bench. Never a lone forward or target man but would be good in a front two. O’Hare will be a good option for us when he returns from injury too. In this case, would be happy for us to shift Taylor & Elphick (would be needed in case of an injury crisis though). And, again, Jedinak although I do appreciate his service and leadership. Probably Lansbury too as he’s not getting a look in. Hope we do end up releasing Richards and McCormack. That would only leave Tsihbola to get rid of somehow, he’s not going to be reintegrated by the looks of it.

Reece Oxford on loan? Not hearing or seeing many links to defenders, is a slight concern but hopefully we are working on deals. Bruce didn’t mention he was after a defender in his press conference, just that we are light in wide areas and up top, maybe he just forgot to mention it. We desperately need a decent CB to partner Chester. A proper LB, winger and target man too. Has been a bit quiet, hopefully things will start advancing soon.

The defence is way more of a concern than GK imo. Needs to find the right selection and stick to it as much as possible. Getting tired of stating it but he needs to stop with playing players out of position and random selections.

Not here because I can’t recall him being played there but that’s the position he’s been developed in at his own club. I’ve seen him at Fullback here and he hasn’t impressed. I don’t think Elphick should’ve been dropped anyway and Jedinak certainly shouldn’t have been selected at CB.

He could have delayed sending Steer out on loan and not have made so many changes, in defence in particular. Fullback doesn’t have to be bombing forward all the time but should at least be able to cross the ball when he gets into a forward position rather than ambling around and being hesitant. This is how he played at RB last season. It’s not Tuanzebes fault anyway, he’s just playing where he’s been told. Bruce just doesn’t see that his correct position is CB. In fact, Bruce just doesn’t have a clue what most of our players best positions are. Sick of his random BS.

Agreed, Bruce is so frustrating and makes so many poor decisions that rarely make sense. Hope he can learn and react properly now, otherwise this kind of crap will not be continually tolerated. Just play everyone in their right positions FFS! Is that too much to ask?

Not a CB, especially poor today and poor in possession. We really should try to sell him, he’s not needed and can’t be relied on. Always puts a shift in, is a good pro and leader but he is well past it and holding us back when he plays now.

He’s definitely a CB. Have no idea why Bruce sees him as some kind of utility player. Did not inspire any confidence at RB last season. His strengths must be all defensive because I haven’t seen any attacking ability from him, he either won’t or can’t cross the ball. Poor and hesitant in possession. I’n hoping he gets a run of games at CB and shows exactly what he can do. Can’t be as bad as Jedinak was anyway. We would’ve been torn apart and embarrassed by a better side today.

On the positive side, McGinn looked and sounded great today (heard first half on radio and watched the rest online) & we got another 3 points so I am keeping positive and hoping that lessons will be learned. Looking forward to new Loan signings.

Such a frustrating manager and never seems to learn his lessons. Too many random changes today, such selections rarely make sense and he’s done it too often. Don’t approve of chucking in Nyland straight away when he’s just got here and barely had time to work with a (settled?) defence. Asking for trouble. Jedinak is not a CB, becoming a liability. Too old and slow, careless in possession and needs to be sold. His heading ability and leadership qualities have always been admirable but that’s about it now. Tuanzebe is not a full back, no attacking ability. And FFS Bruce, play the players in their correct positions!!!! AAARGH!!! Ahem...glad we got the win and got away with one today though. Hope he can learn from this, for once. Strengthen accordingly and stop playing players out of position. Just appears to be random BS and never actually thought out with Bruce... And if he brings back 5 at the back...?

Needs time to settle, thought it was a bad idea to throw him in for his debut straight away without any/much preparation. Stupid to select Jedinak at CB and he was very poor today. Tuanzebe is not a full back and offers nothing going forward. We need a settled defence so they can work with the GK and communicate effectively.
