  1. That’s the worst player vid I’ve ever seen, especially the start! Didn’t really flatter the player but I’m sure he’s much better than shown here.
  2. Yeah Jack is WAY better than Barkley but Barkley is better than many of our other players. On top form, he’s better than McGinn who needs time and work on his fitness to get back up to speed. We need options through the squad and rotation: McGinn and Barkley rotating at CM Luiz as DM Jack as AM (Barkley can play here at times and Jack go LW - options) Rashica/Sarr/Benrahma LW Traore RW Watkins CF.... it would be amazing and oh so dangerous! It’s impossible to sign a player like Jack, he’s simply too good and just gets better & better. Losing him would devastate us and we would become a very poor team, need to sign some genuine quality to supplement him and he will be happy & we will be flying then. Agreed, we completely need to build the side around him and he will continue to get goals & assists. Hoping Luiz is staying for the long term too, he is our next best player and the only one truly comparable in terms of talent & potential.
  3. Honestly, he’s so good he can play well in most positions but his full creativity would be unleashed in the centre and we would seriously hurt teams with Jack supplying & working with some exciting wingers and breaking through the middle (amazing dribbler, wonderful close control but I think his passing is underestimated too) to get goals and assists. He can move between the wing and centre too, mixing it up and interchanging with high quality & intelligent attackers. We would seriously scare the shit out of some teams if we can get this going... he would work so well with Barkley too (attempting to stay on topic ) He’s done fabulously at LW but I think it was more out of need that he ended up playing there. The team was poor and extra quality alongside Jack will make us a major threat to most teams.
  4. What a beauty, better angle:
  5. He was outstanding when he played there in the Championship: We had a decent team for that level and the wingers were productive (Snodgrass & Adomah), whereas for PL level our wingers have been complete shite so Jack has kind of had to play LW. With better wingers and forwards Jack could take his game even further and link up and interchange with good attackers to make us a much more dangerous side, we have to stop relying on him to the extent that we do and have quality throughout the team.
  6. There were rumours linking Nyland to some Bundesliga sides. Kalinic went on loan to Toulouse last season, maybe we could persuade some Ligue 1 sides to take him or maybe a return to Croatia?
  7. Nyland & Kalinic have had long enough. Time to move on & move them on.
  8. Puts me to sleep whenever he speaks...
  9. I don’t think (accidentally?) spilling some chips in a taxi and arguing with the driver is a major indiscretion.... Some of these things are blown out of proportion, exaggerated and made up by dumbass journalists who are salivating at the prospect of a juicy scoop or opportunity to shit on high profile players & personalities (been going on for decades with all kinds of celebrities, in worst cases a constant and relentless need to shame and destabilise their lives). There is no comparison to Drinkwater, a very limited player who got a big move he barely deserved and did not have the ability or personality to thrive at a big/successful club. Barkley is younger, much more talented, keeps in shape and has got games for Chelsea (if he had a bad attitude and was unfit then this wouldn’t be the case, he would’ve been cast out ala Drinkwater). He was deemed an outstanding prospect with high potential at Everton (scores some crackers) and would improve the quality of our midfield. Would be a big upgrade on Hourihane at least and be able to cover for times when Jack is injured or suspended (hopefully we bring a few more in who are able to do that and capably share the attacking & creative burden). Any opportunity to bring up the quality of the team has to be greeted with optimism, who wants us to be fighting against relegation again? Oh... and one more thing.... Here’s your bloody PL experience! Happy now?
  10. Added competition will bring out the best in most players, those that have the will and determination to fight such as Fred, it’s always an asset to have players with the right character & personality (and good age) in the squad for the longer term and he is the type to improve & progress. The players need to be pushing each other constantly to keep performing at a high level, drop off and you’re replaced in the side... this is the kind of “bigger club” mentality we need if we want to kick on and go places instead of struggling to survive by the skin of our teeth. Hope he can stay with us for a while, we need a strong squad and different options. It’s not all about the first XI, you need a good squad to compete at this level and the drop off when a key player is injured or suspended should not be overly significant (whereby the team would almost completely be unable to compete or perform e.g. if Jack was out for a while, need others to step in and up their game. We need squad depth and options as well as bringing up the quality of the first team).
  11. Right-back: Frederic Guilbert (Aston Villa) - 8.11 rating Matty Cash's arrival over the summer has left Frederic Guilbert's future at Aston Villa in doubt but the speedstar offered a reminder of his capabilities in their impressive 3-0 win away to Bristol City on Thursday evening. Guilbert was the WhoScored Man of the Match, completing 94.2% of his attempted passes as well as setting up two goalscoring opportunities. Moreover, Guilbert completed two dribbles and made three clearances.
  12. Being serious for a second, the squad atm is still one that will most likely be fighting for survival. Injuries to key players will devastate us. A few key additions of genuine & superior quality would help us to try to become a midtable side.
  13. Can’t wait for when we sign some more players, shock and shut these dumbf*** jerknalists () up. Sky in particular is just oh so precious about their London & Manchester clubs...
