If over paying reaps rewards then it's money well spent as the return on investment will be huge once back in the premier league, what we are spending is small time in comparison to clubs in the premier league l, look at palace, buying one player for 32million, their transfer record blows ours out the water! We want to be a premier league team again, then this is the quickest way to go about it.

It's a jealousy thing, I remember being jealous of Chelsea and Man City when they started spending loads. Also, the accent comment... Pot kettle black springs to mind!

Didn't get to play anywhere near enough for me to form an opinion of him sadly. Looked a real threat at times, shame didn't have he players around to support him and allow him to have freedom of movement, I think if allowed to do what he wanted in final third he could've been a real threat.

Seems he is highly rated amongst people that aren't Villa fans. Think would be a good signing. Ideally we would get Hernandez and kodjia!

Think it just shows he acknowledges the point. If Gollini doesn't like it, then it might make him knuckle down more, for what it's worth, I think Gollini could become a great player for Villa, but it's going to take a few years to get there.

Agree. There really is so so so many more games to go, teams still not even complete yet, and will take time for new players to settle in. Come end of the season we will be in the top 6, having followed the championship for many many years, I can tell you now what happens in August will not be an indication of how the season pans out.

When we first signed him and watched his video reel, I thought he likes to palm the ball out a lot, probably should've been able to hold the shot. Other two goals it's harder to say if he was at fault, better keepers have conceded those type of goals. i think he will become an outstanding keeper, but as others have said, we need a solid experienced keeper at this point in time.
