  1. I pray he isn't considering those two
  2. I think he should be given 20 games to be judged on.
  3. What a brilliant spot on blog post! Cannot fault it, echoes my sentiments exactly! Great read, thanks for posting Nigel, really puts it into perspective.
  4. Think the newspaper reports are a load of made up nonsense. Dr Tony knows it was a big job, I imagine RDM will get 20 games to prove himself, even if bottom after 20 games, we could still get s play off place, nothing to stress about JUST yet.
  5. You've missed the point I was alluding too. The landscapes changing, Brighton spend over 10 million on new players, and they already had a team that would've won come second if not for goal difference, the fact is, we needed to spend that 50 million just to have a squad, instead of the wasters of last season. So for me, 50 million spend wasn't enough to improve us but to keep us standing still.
  6. I think a precedence has to be set throughout the club and discussions would've been held with the manager and the powers that be. He got punished for the exact same thing last season, nitrous oxide and partying etc, yes he is a young lad, but he is being paid a shed load of money to be a professional, there's plenty of other young lads his age not doing this sh#t or disrespecting the club, once I can understand, but twice in less then a year?! Taking the mickey. If he wants to party like that, do it during pre-season like all the other 20yr old professional footballers.
  7. Certainly could, so these draws could've easily have been wins if not for some individual errors etc. All fine lines. Like I said I rate Gollini.
  8. If he has misbehaved then he shouldn't play regardless of if we needed him or not, you can't let that behaviour go unpunished.
  9. Could someone go through the Dr's tweets and see if he mentioned about missing out on a midfielder or something, swear that rings a bell, also I don't think they were planning on losing Gueye, so maybe we are actually two midfielders lighter then we planned for? All just assumptions mind.
  10. That said @TrentVilla if wasn't for those errors he made at the start, Villa would be higher up the table. I actually like the look of this kid, much more confident with him then Guzan that's for sure.
  11. We spent £50 million which is a lot you could argue, but with the inflation in player prices, is 50 million really enough to buy you top quality players to replace near enough a whole starting 11? It's almost like we needed to spend that and possibly more, just to get back to square one. Every other team in this division has started the season with a settled squad, the teams from league one are coming up bouyant, Norwich and Newcastle came down but they were still miles ahead of our team last season, guess what I'm saying is, that 50 million was spent on playing catch up and trying to rectify one of the worst squads in premier league history, has it improved us? Yes, will it get us promoted? Possibly not, but the foundations of a better squad have been laid, and for me that's better then anything the last 5 years have served up and I look forward to RDM moulding this team.
  12. Not true, as I've said before, the championship flips on its head so quickly it's insane, could go another 15 games like this and still get promoted.
  13. He might be a great manager but I've never wanted Bruce anywhere near this club, there must be better options out there if we are looking!?
  14. Yep, agree. Doesn't help anyone and makes the new players regret their decision to join us and makes them want out.
  15. Yeah that's a fair point, I could feel myself losing patience when we went 1-0, but I saw some pro-activity that changed the game so that for me has bought him some time, plus a draw against Newcastle, surely we'd take that.
  16. That's like loose change for him tho, doubt he is that bothered.
  17. I'm trying to be optimistic, but I'm starting to wane.
  18. Give o'leary money and he gets you champions league football!
  19. True, I blame him for not stopping the rot after the Milner debacle, just seems to have snowballed ever since and I sometimes feel like I'm never going to enjoy football ever again, yet can't stop but keep coming back for more or this torture.
  20. Will we ever shift this losing mentality?! F##k you Randy Lerner!
