What I have seen from West Ham today they are no where near as poor as us, it sickens me to say that joke of a club has more fight in them than we do.....

It sounds good in theory, and I won't be upset if he's our manager in the Championship. I'll tell you though, we get a couple of good spankings in the next few games and he will be out on his ear because that's just how it works.

My guess will be he won't make it to page 1500, or we stay up and he goes past that landmark ..... Or we go down and they stick with him but I'm not sure that will happen.

I would suggest if it reached page 12345, we'll have won some trophies so I wouldn't be upset if it did. That's gotta be Fergie territory as far as length of threads goes.

Sorry but you're deluded, an as Australian I realise unfortunately I come from a racist country. What I have seen and heard come out of the UK in the last few weeks specifically has shocked me. The UK is every bit as racist as Australia, sadly if not more.

We couldn't be any more impotent in attack than we are now, so that would probably improve too. Get rid of wingers, play Elmo on the right and CH on the left, chuck in Luiz and McGinn. Stack that midfield, release Jack and let him do his thing. Tongue in cheek, yes ..... Pretty sure it would work though....

6 months ago I would've answered Yes & Yes but now I'd answer No and No. I've always like Smith, he seems a likeable and decent bloke but I've had enough of watching Villa under his management. Honestly I'd prefer Allardyce, just purely in hope of seeing something different, like defending.

We won't win another game, it's not going to be as bad as 15/16 but it will feel similar by the end.

Yes but he was slated as being terrible by the time he left. Very few players come to Villa and get better, it's part of the curse.

Persistence my friend, (I play FM19 still) I won the CL before I won the league too. Took me about 7 or 8 seasons to win the league ..... Since then I've finished first or second in the league 18 or 19 times only missing out (3rd) once in that time. I agree with Hogso, in that I believe the game is set in a certain way. I couldn't beat the "big" teams hardly ever for many many seasons then all of sudden they can't beat me. Keep going mate, sounds like you have solid tactics and a quality team. Just try small changes here and there, bring in a new coach or two for example. Even though I use one tactic mainly I always play a few games with other tactics where I can get away with it, I believe the game engine will punish you for using the same tactic every single match.

It's been years since I played chess (like maybe 20 years) I use to be ok at it. My dad use to teach that one of the most important things is to see possible moves as far ahead as possible. Pretty sure that's why they take so long between moves, literally go through each scenario but not just 1 move ahead but multiple moves ahead. If you ever want a game online and know a forum we can join I'd love to play sometime.
