We really are a tough watch aren't we? Slow and ploddy today when we need to move the ball quickly and create space to shift the ball. I thought Gerrard was passive.

I like the fact that he actually looked up before playing the ball in to Bailey's feet. Signs of being a cracking player.

He should still be the skipper and I hope that Gerrard is big enough to admit he made a mistake for the sake of trying to change things that didn't need changing.

Was excellent today, great passing and talks well across the line. Foden was kept really quiet but Pep didn't want to put that other left sided chap on for them.

I have been a critic of Douglas but I thought he played well today. Much better playing slightly further forward.

The draw buys him more time but he cannot rest on his laurels and think that we have turned a corner. Needs some consistency about the style and shape of the side and the pattern of play needs to become clearer. No more false dawns.

I'm interested in seeing what Dendonker can do and where he is going play. Will her sit next to Kamara or will Gerrard push Kamara further forward? Who knows, but he might turn out to be a bargain.

How is what the case? No, we don't roll over for anyone. Absolutely, but this is a business decision and we have just lost 25 mill on a bang average player. I appreciate that others rate Douglas, but unless he signs a contract, which he won't, then we have just lost money.

I reckon the only reason we turned it down was because we couldn't get a decent replacement in. 25 mill for a really average player, in the last year of his contract, is a really dumb decision. Poor end to the transfer window.

There is a risk for Luiz that he might not end up at the club of his dreams if he decides to leave on a free transfer next season. Signing a new contract with Villa might just be his best option.

Tielemans being linked elsewhere. Neat and tidy player but not the powerhouse we really need in the centre of the park.

Hasn't started the season well at all has he? Cannot possibly get any worse. French international class player? Blimey! I'm looking forward to seeing if Ludwig is actually worse. Surely not.

I was of the view that Hornets fans think he's a one in five type player. Will be interesting to see where he fits in. Hopefully another midfielder coming in too.

I trust Chambers more than Konsa or Hause, so if we don't bring in another centre back, he and Tyrone get my vote.

It's where we were at the time we bought them. For example, when we got promoted, we needed to bring in a whole squad of players just to survive. We have moved on but many of those players haven't and whilst we would have loved to have signed better players back then, we weren't a big enough pull at that stage to do so. I am guessing that we also had to offer half decent wages just for them to come to the club.

Those comments from Gerrard tell me that we want a few more out first but will be bringing someone else in, even if that is a loan.
