I think we might bring in another last minute loan, potential loan to buy, if anything at all. Injured players can't get back quickly enough Demitri!

The only thing I reckon we might do at this stage is a last minute crack at one of the clubs in Spain or Italy who need the money and might instruct a player that he needs to leave because they need the money. That or a loan offer for Lo Celso as a replacement for Coutinho, if he moves. That said, great window, but I think we are done.

Archer £18.5m, Davis £2m, Bidace £5m, Ramsey £14m, plus the potential for Coutinho for around 15m, all a tidy sum and I can't believe that we won't spend more given that this money would more than account for Diaby's transfer to Villa. Surely there is another person incoming?

These are good signings for Hull as they are two solid players who have done well at that level. They won't let anyone down and I wish them well. Respect to Hull for paying the fees and getting on with it. Davis is not prolific, but will scare the shit out of people with his strength and ability to bring others into the game around him. Jadon PB is also a decent player who will appreciate the game time and will put in a shift. Solid players, good luck to them.

I hope this alleged groin injury clears up quickly, be great to see him get some minutes at Hibs.

He played really well today but is usually bang average. If we have a deal for him in place, and can bring in Acuna or someone else, I am more than happy.

With respect to Philogene, Archer, Hause, Davis, they are only ever going to sit on the bench at Villa and will only get minutes when we have injuries like we do now. Once those players are fit, the disappear back in to reserve football and we don't see them again. We can't sit around waiting for that to happen and they may as well be sold. Numbers are short at the noment but I reckon we have a couple lined up to come in this week and will sign at least one more before the window closes.

I agree about Adams. Not a great player, whereas Archer has pace and movement, he's busy and likes to be in the box, pulling defenders around. Just in the last few weeks, working under Unai Emery will have made him a better player. 15m plus add ons and I reckon we might do a deal as long as there is a buy back clause.

Given how many games we have to play this season, we can't really afford to get rid of players who will chip in with the odd goal here and there and have more positive games than negative ones. We have Coutinho and Buendia for the 'give and go' type, get in to the box late sort of role. Both of them create a bit of space and cause gaps in defences. Diaby, in the number 10 role does the same. We need all of them unless we get a crazy offer than we just can't refuse.

Nobody remembers the losers. Quick test, who finished 4th in, I dunno, 2017? Who cares, give me a trophy please. No-one forgets that.

He's a wonderful player. We need another version of him in case of injury but what a player Bouba is.

I like Digne, but for the right money, and when the better player in Moreno comes back, I'd be happy to see him go. If we get a good deal for him that is. Given the way the Saudi's throw their money around, I see no reason why we can get twenty mill for him.

Lovely to have players to bring on who will not drop the quality when they enter the pitch. Tielemans is quality.

We are so interchangeable. Really decent squad of players, if we could add a couple more and be greedy.

If Digne is not in the squad tonight, due to an er, broken eyelash, we may smell a rat! Livramento is a decent signing. 15 mill too much, but that is the market at the moment. Tyler Adams, yes please. He is a decent player who can cover two positions. We also need back up to Kamara, who was injured a couple of times and is likely to be the same this season, given the way he plays the game. Fantastic player though he is.

The way we play, we look like we will score goals from all over the pitch but for the tougher games, we still look short of forward thinking players. Diaby, Watkins are definite starters but beyond that we have Bailey, Archer and Duran, who are all a bit of a risk. Really hope we grab another wide/central forward to boost the numbers.

He was at Cardiff last year and isn't ready. 'based on today' fair enough, wrong choice of words, but from what i saw, he needed to go at the defender more and chose the easier option. Unai can work with him but I don't think he's ready for a full season. Be great for him to go to a really decent club in the Championship for another season.
