  1. Every positive post about Davis always gets: he holds up well, good link up play, nightmare for defenders BUT he don't score. Strikers gotta score. Great ball by El Ghazi i thought, Davis has to try harder to get there.
  2. Wow. Mile over the line. Will take it though. We've played quite well. Konsa at RB looks good. Could be a new position for him going forward. Dont think he's good enough to be a top CB.
  3. Partly due to how awful we've looked against them for 2 years now. We mugged them at VP last season.
  4. Of course but my point was if your bare minimum isn't matching their work rate, because you know they'll bring that, we've not got a hope of imposing ourselves on them and playing good football ourselves. They play some quality stuff.
  5. McGinn gonna be like a new signing. Like ive said so many times about Sheffield United, you are at nothing if you don't match their workate. That's bare minimum. Our need is greater than theirs and i hope that's reflected in how we play.
  6. Think it would be no harm to cut or reduce the witton stop on the Walsall line from Birmingham NS for our remaining home games. You will always get the idiots that will go out on the train and walk around outside the ground. Some just have an innate ability to do the exact of what is been asked, a sheer brazeness. If enough people do this, it becomes a problem.
  7. Absolute idiot. I don't think stripping him of the captaincy would be excessive at all. He's not above the law. Our masseuse got struck down with this virus and then ya have Bertie big bollocks thinking he can wander around the place and do what he wants. Hope the club hammer him.
  8. Don't put it back on me the fact you haven't a shred of tact. That's your problem, not mine. You said " it's a shitty way to go " if you can't see what's wrong with saying something like that about a former player who just died then....can't argue with an idiot.
  9. Really classless comment. Trying to be clever and wrap a joke up into a young man's death.
  10. Great talent. Struggled for game time with us but like Davis, Albrighton - goes into the category of one we moved on far too soon. He was streets ahead of Championship level in his peak years at Cardiff. Surprised he stayed with them for so long. RIP. 35. No age.
  11. April 3rd, at the earliest. The are winging it. This is weeks away from reaching peak levels. Season is done i think.
  12. Wrap it up. Go again in August. This hasn't even peaked yet. Weeks from that .
  13. Because the underdog getting tanked in the league the week before and heavily criticised never up their game for a cup final. Right ?
  14. Joyce - Dubois. Whyte - Povetkin and Usyk - Chisora all on PPV within a month of each other. Fighters been paid astronomical purses. Licence fee from sky and bt can't cover it. Back in the day all 3 of those would of landed on regular sky. Whyte is surely been paid close or above a 7 figure sum. Never fought for a world title. Nuts.
  15. My point is in when all is said and done if you are in the bottom 3 after 38 games it's relegation, no matter how we try and categorise it.
  16. If we get relegated, it will still read we got relegated.
  17. I agree. You'd think the following. if his input and coaching were not been listened to and he had the courage of his convictions and thought he was been underappreciated, he'd of walked long ago. He's not short on cash. He has a name in the game.
  18. When you look at Guilbert and Trezeguet do you think these are players who are not playing for a manager or players who, regardless of who was in charge, are just not that good. They are miles off premier league players. For a start look where they came from. Club relegated in France and not even a top 5 club in Turkey. And we are shocked they are " underperforming" These are not holding anything back. I'm sorry, this is what they have to offer. We've been shown it.
  19. We are miles behind Europe in having a proper football orientated and focused network from top to bottom. Michael Zorc is the director of football at Dortmund, played over 450 games for them. Sebastian Kehl. Lars Ricken over youth. Ajax have loads of former players as directors and on the board. We need to stop giving important football decision making jobs to people who are not qualified and lack knowledge to make calls they are making.
  20. Smith wanted this job so bad that he took it with terms and conditions. He's now seeing that thing's eventually bubble to the surface when you do that.
  21. He played in a team relegated from ligue 1. Bordeaux didn't think he was good enough. Not having a pop at him personally. He isn't good enough. Suso needs to be sacked.
  22. The kid playing for Chelsea in midfield who's barely hit puberty will run nakamba and Luiz ragged.
  23. I think the owners always knew the target in the summer was to stay in the league. I think with what they spent ( mind you spread out over 12 players ) they didn't think it would be this hard. Id be a bit worried to be honest. We have owners who, the dog on the street knows, wanted thierry henry. A CEO who spent the summer bragging about our highly sophisticated and modern scouting network run by a sporting director who looks like he is way out of his depth. If it looks like a tom fox and paddy riley, well......
  24. I don't rate him. He needs an age on the ball to be effective. Far more miss than hit so far. We'd of got Billing for the same price. Way better player.
