    Simply shouldn't be captain , never has been captain material , even more so if he's off and the club know it. More often than not he is mouthing at officials rather than bonding the team , very good player but we could buy 3 good players with the money for him , his time here is done.

    The rest of the UK can only be in groups of 6 people at a 2 metre distance. Football however do what they please. There are still 8 thousand people in hospital and hundreds dieing every day. The idea of voiding is far less bizarre than starting again in my opinion

    yes same i have 2 adult and 3 kids tickets , only got emails for the 2 adult , i just filled the form in for all of them

    I think the club also need to sort out compensating season ticket holders now as well. There has been no mention , many other clubs have already sorted it

    i don't believe for a minute top level players will stay away from home for weeks for this , the whole idea is obscene. Imagine Aston Villa xi 4 v liverpool xi 3 *several players from both teams refused to play and both captains were ruled out with a temperature , game abandoned after 50 minutes due to linesman becoming ill. All players and coaches involved are inelligable for the next 14 days. This just isnt going to be viable

    I think Platt tainted his time here a little with things said after he had gone , close on 70 goals for villa in 3 and a bit years , and over 60 england caps. Not so hot in goal though

    i actually think for me it becomes less important as time goes on , i just want to be back at villa park with these horrible times behind us. Which division we are in is totally unimportant to me now , they should end the season then make the decisions that need to be made.

    not sure it would be nothing without their money , division one was great before the sky money . Like you say players have had it too good for too long , i'd be more than happy to go back to no tv coverage and a fiver a ticket

    With sky saying they want the tv money back , the whole of english football should refuse to renew the contract , likewise every football fan should cancel sky sports. Then we would see how much power they really have

    His head looks to have been turned or he has given up a bit. Dont buy into this hoping players do well elsewhere though , once they go i really don't care. Ive been here longer than all of them

    One thing is for certain the club need our support if we are to stay up , the meltdowns on here are bad enough when we get a bad result , its now happening when other teams get good results. Anyone who thought this would be easy are deluded

    Done euston last year was awful , literally rammed in with people trying to climb over each other to get on , hope its better this year , im driving for the first time because of it.

    2 of his saves were from him passing the ball to one of their players

    Thought he was a liability today , too casual with the ball at his feet , floating passes 40 yards straight to the opposition instead of clearing properly. Made some good saves but the majority were caused by him

    i'm still behind Smith , but if it goes wrong Ian holloway has to be the man to get us back up. The rants would be comedy gold "who are the fans to tell me that Freddy Guilbert isn't a goalie , i'd like to see them try".
