There is no way we could replace Ollie with one footballer. The strategy would have to be to analyse and break down Ollie’s key attributes. His creativity, his assists, his goals. To find these qualities and others in three forward players.

Anyway, good on Jhon. That’s six goals this season from him. Compare him to say Jordan Ayew, who’s had a long and lucrative career at the top of the football pyramid (10 years in the Premier League, 100 international caps), and it’s clear Jhon can do even better than that. Great work by the scouts.

All hypothetical, but even that first row of houses next to the gardens would be enough for the club to do a lot. Can’t build a new stadium but opens up expansion for three of the four stands. Expands the North Stand and Holte car park areas as well.

If Grealish would come back for reasonable wages, say less than £100k a week, I’d take him. But I’d do it just to put him in the bomb squad training with the U21s for the rest of his life. That would be great. Money well spent.
