  1. We don't know that he hasn't made it clear. Some of us are assuming that he hasn't. Well HH seems the most ITK we've ever had on this site and he's not sure what the future ambition regarding spending is. I find it a worry to be honest, from the point of view that surely Lerner and Faulkner have assumed Lambert would succeed from the beginning. They wouldn't of hired him if they didn't think he could do the job so it would be nice to know if there is some sort of plan, where after the squad has been overhauled and we're back in the mix above 10th place we'd hopefully start working on going further. Obviously we understand the objectives Lambert has had set out to him: cutting wages back, overhauling the squad, avoid relegation in the first season. If HH isn't sure about finances and such for the future then it doesn't really bode well for having any sort of plan following the 'avoid relegation' period of our club (should we actually move on from that this season).
  2. ive re-read this. Im not sure if this is a joke and id be worried if it wasnt It must be.
  3. That's basically what I'm asking about Ash, the whole "we could make signings but it depends on our position in January" could mean either we're in the scrap and need reinforcements or we are in a good position and want to add quality to keep us going for a higher place. I hope it's the latter if I am honest as I reckon in January we'll be about 9th or 10th.
  4. I used to love parachuting out of a helicopter on BF3, throwing C4 mid-air and landing in an abundance of flamey twisted metal that was once a tank.
  5. Yep, thought the same. Welcome Gaz! good to have you on board! Top shout
  6. If you do feel like answering any more questions, which I'm sure we'd all love but have no problem if you don't want to: I am intrigued to know whether or not new signings made in January will depend on our position being bad or our position being good? Do you think we will sign players if we're not doing so well to avoid the scrap at the bottom, or will we sign players if we are doing well to help us push on?
  7. HH has liked the post, looks like that is the line-up we'll see then chaps!
  8. It looks amazing, single player seems to be fine for me although I haven't tried to load up the campaign since I first played it.
  9. I'd guess that they won't pay any more than £10k of Given's wages too, otherwise it'd blow their wage budget out completely. Who knows though!
  10. Yeah, they told me about the double XP thing but it was almost as if they didn't understand what I was saying when I told them I CANNOT PLAY THE GAME. Then they told me they can't do anything and I just have to wait. Shite company to say the least.
  11. http://www.twitter.com/villatalk I believe that is the one Ian
  12. HH is Lambert, end of story, that line-up talk the other day confirmed it for me. If it isn't Lambert then it's Culverhouse. Paul/Ian, do you think if we're say mid-table (10th or 11th) come January that we won't sign anybody else then?
  13. So basically the game doesn't work on Xbox One, multiplayer that is. Contacted EA and asked them what to do about my broken game because I can't get refunded since the seal is broken, to which they told me "well the game isn't actually broken, the servers are and the servers aren't part of the game." Amazing, bravo EA, bravo!
  14. And he still didn't celebrate, Olof the legend!
  15. Nice one going to try that out in a bit, recently got a new net connection put it in so that could be it.
  16. Some actual Lambo news: http://www.sportsdirectnews.com/premier-league-news/36505-villa-pay-norwich-1.5m-to-end-lambert-spat.php#.Upch4GRdVG8
  17. I've had problems with the party chat not connecting, although only one of my mates has an Xbox One so whether it's just the connection between us both I don't know. Try doing a Skype voice call, works a lot better in my opinion anyway.
  18. That's one thing we certainly have in abundance. The amount of passion shown by the staff/players on the bench and every player on the pitch when we score is mental, every time as well.
  19. Loving how this thread has turned optimistic now. As I've said before, let's all remember that it isn't JUST Lambert doing this job though. His staff have been outstanding, especially with scouting players and as things stand I wouldn't change our set-up for any other. Oh and as for the picture above, Lambo's celebrations are always excellent, almost as if he is playing himself :
  20. Trying to figure out the math here. We lost the last 3, so that means we gained 8 points from 3 games. Must have had one of those rare 2-point games agains QPR or Stoke Apologies, I missed out Norwich on that list, which we won. 2 wins 2 draws and 3 losses.
  21. Coyle will pick him up straight after the game, it's a win/win situation
  22. He won't be playing in then though, probably just taking part in full training and it can take another month to build up the required fitness for league games. Yup Lambo has said he will decide whether or not he is in his plans when he returns to full training so I guess we may see him again. That said, I don't think there is too much of a future for him here which is a shame as he clearly has talent, just isn't consistent with his use of it.
