  1. Bit scrappy atm but much prefer the attacking intent when we get the ball.
  2. Oh the Villa nerves, how i've missed you.
  3. I disagree, I think it was a dive. I was trying to be funny by posting the video of that song from Frozen - Let It go. Youtube and Villatalk were having none of it.
  4. Get people around the Wafro to clear his flick ons and you've pretty much undone long ball Uniteds game plan. 3-0.
  5. That Bale one isn't a dive. Somebody just yanked the grass from underneath him. Not his fault.
  6. So are we assuming now that the club has an 'ideology' of how football should be played and that players will be bought to suit that style? How much of a say does Sherwood have in the deals do we think?
  7. We're getting Reading or Bradford. Nailed on.
  8. That Alexis Sanchez fella is half decent isn't he.
  9. What? If you dive you are conning the ref. If you wernt forced to go down then you shouldnt be. Old fashioned I know. Sometimes players dive or jump out of the way to avoid getting clattered. Usually though these types of 'dives' occur further away from the penalty area. Again a jump and dive are different. If you leap over a 2 footed challenge and get clipped pushing you off balance and go down then fair enough, if you leap it and then feign a fall its a dive. I suppose its a commentary on the state of reffing that the example there is only a foul if they go to ground when avoiding a potentially serious injury. I dont think Jack was about to get clattered, tackled yes, bottled it yes, evaded the challenge yes, dived yes. Unlucky to get punished in the way he did for an action that players get away with in every game. I'm not saying I condone it, I'm just saying players do it and I think thats what Jack did.
  10. His welcome what? My welcome mat. Whose Mat? I'm Matt.

  12. A dive shouldn't equal an instant yellow because they aren't all out to con the ref.
  13. An appeal would be unsuccessful anyway. It was a dive. Unfortunate, and does seem harsh seeing as the first booking was so innocuous, but it's only a 1 game ban for the sunderland game A dive to cheat or as evasive action?
  14. He did. Composure is lacking in the defensive areas but I think he could do a job breaking up play further forward.
  15. Fair point about Houllier, completely forgot about that!
  16. Who is this Paul Lambert you all speak of? I thought our manager was called Tim Sherwood, he's half decent as well.
  17. Amazing considering we don't know who we are playing, when we are playing and more importantly, the fact that they haven't gone on sale yet. Now now, don't allow facts to get in the way of good bullshit brag.
  18. When he is on the pitch we do seem to have more attacking intent down which ever side he is on.
  19. I thought we already had agreed to sign him and the loan was just between now and then? Anyway, time to watch the highlights again!
