Will be interesting to see what he does tactically for this game. I can't imagine West Brom sitting back as much as they did on Tuesday so how he anticipates that will be interesting. Sherwood clearly likes the 2 up top and i'd like to see Gil at the point of the diamond if he chooses to go with that shape for this one. Either way though I'm really happy with what i'm seeing.

The way he took that penalty makes me think confidence was never an issue and it was just our style of play. In 2/3 game with Sherwood in charge he has looked dangerous.

I even drove to work extra slow to listen to it but still missed it! They have a listen again feature on the site if you really want to hear what he said.

Really impressed with Sherwood. My favourite managers in football right now are Simeone and Klopp and whilst i'm not going to make comparisons between Sherwood and them tactically yet you can definetly see a few similarities in their motivational abilities.

That's the Gabby that we need but I think he is only effective against teams that play a certain way. Oddly enough though I would have thought it wouldn't have been against a West Brom side who under Pulis are notorious for camping on the edge of their box but for some reason last night there seemed to be a lot of space for him to run in behind. I like this idea of playing 2 up top and if Sherwood can get the right combination of strikers for the right games then our goals scored column should shoot right up.

More than anything last night I think the important thing was that we actually started to play well and look threatening. The amount of players in the box when the penalty was won was brilliant and it just goes to show if you gamble and get men in the box you get decisions. Still feel high as kite!
