  1. Why would a calf injury be any less serious than any other lower body muscular injury?
  2. I was watching some clips the other day from BT sport and they were having a discussion about football hard men. They had Steven Gerard, Martin Keown, Gobby Cabbage and whoever the presenter dude is. Anyway, Gobby was sat alongside the footballers, rather than the presenter and just looked completely lost. He had no input either as a pundit or as an ex-footballer and to be honest i'm not sure what the purpose of him is.
  3. If he's back for the run that is an absolute game changer!
  4. I think we can overwhelm fulham If we go at them. I think we have such a strong core defensively that we can afford to do it as well. Same as last week. The defence beat them physically and allow Grealish, Hourihane, Adomah and Snodgrass to tear them apart.
  5. He clearly has no problem with bone density when he is doing keepy uppies with a medicine ball!
  6. Apparently we haven’t conceded a goal when he has been in midfield so I’d guess no.
  7. Jedi is great in the air but his timing is outstanding. The amount of tackles he won on the ground yesterday was immense. Jack was incredible yesterday but Jedi was my motm. Him, Terry, Chester and Hutton beat Blues at their game and allowed Jack to rip them apart. Mile is better than Thor but I think we need to use both of them in the run in. Jedinak should always be first option though.
  8. Even funnier was the commentator describing him as a goalkeeper who is comfortable with the ball......
  9. This. There's running into space and then there is running around like a lunatic and taking the space away. I play at the back so my movement is usually very lateral unless there is an obvious run forward. Movement should be about providing options, not just moving for the sake of it.
  10. I can fully understand where he is coming from. In a perfect world he resigns for the good of the club but we don't live in a perfect world where people are completely selfless. In an industry where your current job could quite easily be your last I can understand why you wouldn't just walk away. That being said he did contribute to the downfall of the club, i'm just thankful now we seem to be on the up. I have no ill will towards him at all.
  11. That is disgraceful although he may be doing the world a favor. His chances of reproducing effectively cannot be great.
  12. Controlling the ball is your first touch..... Unless of course it's a first time pass......
  13. I've literally no idea what you're going on about.
  14. Just so i'm clear on this. You are suggesting that If somebody believes that Terry will cut it in the Premier League then they must also believe that Hutton, Samba and Richards can?
  15. I would have thought so. I'm not sure 'Aston Villa' can buy another football team. This has Udinese/Watford or even Midtjylland/Brentford written all over it.
  16. Either way though, Onomah and Elmo for Snodgrass and Adomah isn't exactly changing the shape massively. We just switched off.
  17. Against better opposition i'd be inclined to agree. I think he thought, as we all did, that at 2-0 it was game over.
  18. Usually managers do make changes when the team is in complete control if they want to give players a rest, which he did. Sheff Utd was a big effort from the team.
  19. At this stage I don’t have many issues with Bruce having a season in the Premier League. It’s taken awhile but things are ticking along nicely.
  20. That Steve Bruce fella is a good man manager....
