Still early days but either Smith is a top coach, Bruce is a very average one, or a bit of both. We’ve only had to wait 2 and half bloody years to play so called rival big club at their own ground and say who the f**k are you!

Quiet firsr half but ran the show second. Tracked back superbly too. You could tell he was very sensible with his challenges to avoid a yellow.

Probably the best half of football I’ve seen us play since we get relegated. First half we were decent unti Taylor got injured and then until half time we more or less had 10 men so they put some pressure on. Nyland well done. Very assured and great saves. Second half wow. We missed chance after chance yet won 3-0. Gave Bolasie motm as he changed the game in terms of the first goal when it looked like it wasn’t going to come. Lets put this in to perspective. We’ve just gone to the ground of the in form home team of the season and played them off the park. Everything looks different for the season all of a sudden.

This is becoming a joke now. At least we look so much fitter than them. Matter of time surely?

He’s left his line more often this game than his whole Villa career.

Let’s count how many times he gives the ball away today or if he is to blame for any Derby chances. I really think you’re just focusing on any mistake he makes and forgetting the rest of his performance. Similar to what people do with Whelan which annoys you a lot.

Letting Elphick go without a replacement when at the time there was only one establishd centre half at the club was criminal. But it was also another Steve Bruce master class move in how to get sacked without it looking too obvious. Theres no point trying to make sense of any of Bruce’s decisions once new owners took over. He was like an employee working his notice. He no longer really cared and was just thinking show me the money. All in my opinion of course.

This would never go down well but the only really solution to this problem is to build a new stadium in an open area of Birmingham. It could have a massive car park along with direct public transport. These inner city areas will never be able to cope with big football stadiums.
