It’s totally exceeded my expectations. I expected him to be decent. But what I’ve seen so far is like the complete striker. Who said you can’t sign qualify players from the championship? Also if the opening games are anything to go by I’m glad we missed out on Maupay and got this lad a year later!

Mid table would be superb but now we have beaten Liverpool by 7 the players will go in to every game feeling they can win regardless of who the opponent is. A lot will come down to injuries but if we can keep our key players fit there is no reason we can’t finish top off. I mean if Sheffield United can do it why can’t we?!

Is this a part of game that can be worked on in your mid 20s because I’m sure Trez looked to have a burst of pace on Monday that I’ve never seen before. Maybe it’s an area the club have been working on with him because he has got the technical ability, its the acceleration that let him down. As for Traoré from what I’ve seen so far he seems to have that burst of pace wingers need but probably isn’t so quick over 30 yards.

I’m not sure it was which is why I’m glad VAR didn’t give it. They should only be tell him to check the screen if they think it’s a clear and obvious error.
