isn't rdm answering the question the way all new managers do when asked about certain players.no new manager says,"no way i'm kicking the words removed out the door". to me it's just new manager speak.anyway it's a resounding no from me on all of them.

with the proposed elphick signing it looks like we have been after players and just been waiting for the takeover to be ratified.i don't think elphick would be the only player we'd approach.we could be in for an exciting few weeks.

some of the most loyal/passionate villa fans i have known have been our hooligan element.the "they're not football fans is bull crap". through my brother having worked with some of them i know some of c-crew.to say we don't have ourselves to blame is to be unaware of our history.you can go back to the early 70's with arsenal/pool/derby and leeds fans to know where the problem stems.myself i have been to every final(euro and world),from 86-2000.in my time i've seen people of all ages sing 2 world wars and 1 world cup to germans.we do have ourselves to blame.in the 1990 world cup i was attacked at the semi-final by italian fans looking for english as that was a badge of honour for them.i'm a devout coward who has run from any trouble.i remember coming into rotterdam railway station in 2000 and seeing the fear on peoples faces hearing england fans singing. if you go to the european hotspots this summer then who will be the worst behaved there,us.we do have a history and dr p is right to say we have brought it on ourselves.
