  1. I think it looks like a trash bag for medical waste personally.
  2. I'm not ready to talk about Fantasy Football yet. If Southampton score I'm going to be like Michael Douglas in 'Falling Down'.
  3. Really, how have they managed not to score more than once? Pretty shameful stuff from them to be honest. No wonder they're not going to make top 4.
  4. Is this a new rapper that the kids like or something?
  5. So it's just that you think he's a bad manager? This doesn't make any sense. If he's as bad as you say, then he'll be sacked in short order. If not, well, then we'll have won some football matches for a change won't we? Then he wouldn't be a bad manager.
  6. I'm confused as to why appointing Gareth Southgate would mean the end of your support of the club.
  7. Well, this week's already got off to a terrible start, no Lukaku, no Mitrovic, not looking good.
  8. Yes, that's how it seems to me too. The club seem to be publicly and carefully explaining why he's unavailable for selection, giving more information than you'd imagine is strictly necessary. I don't think it'll have escaped anyone's notice that he's on an enormous wage that will be extremely difficult to carry next season, yet he's only scored once this season and has frequently been unavailable for selection due to non-injury-related physical fitness concerns. Engineering a move to the Emirates would probably be best for all concerned at this point.
  9. I have no idea whether 'a healthcare assistant' is a direct subordinate of a ward manager, and therefore whether this scenario you've outlined might actually happen, but to be completely fair 'manager gets sacked, assistant has to step in' is hardly an earth-shattering occurance. Any assistant manager should be prepared to step in, it's just part of the job. However, I do feel a bit for Black, I don't suppose we'd win a game this season no matter what he did.
  10. Obviously that isn't the height of anyone's ambitions. If that's worrying you, you can relax.
  11. He might be Swedish, but he talks like a true Brummie!
  12. Once I've replaced Jagielka tonight, together with the bench boost my players will be playing up to 30 matches this week, which should be enough to rocket up the rankings.
  13. He's only still at the club as he's recovering from a horrific leg injury. He's a million miles from good enough, even for a Championship side.
  14. The evidence for this tribunal was given in Birmingham, in fact in the same office building I work in. My colleague bumped into Pardew in the cafeteria on that day. Probably one for the boring thread really.
  15. I've said all along it's sickening and needs to be investigated in Europe.
  16. Lol, sorry boss! I'm not sure how great a pickup he is. I don't think he can be counted on to start every game, which is a bit of an issue, but I think he'll pick up some decent scores when he does play.
  17. I don't know, but I wish it would die. There's no other way to pronounce 'passion' without pronouncing it incorrectly, so I'm lost as to what the point is supposed to be.
  18. Meh. I think he'll be sacked by Halloween, but then again I'd have said the same about anybody else.
  19. We're talking about Ted Cruz, but let's try to keep positive, at least a little. Here's something to cheer you up. Craig Mazin is a screenwriter. Probably not a very good one. He wrote The Hangover 2 & 3, and Scary Movie 3 & 4. However, Craig Mazin has another string to his bow. It turns out he was Cruz's college roommate in Princeton, and evidently developed something of a hatred for him during that time. He's subsequently devoted nearly every interview he's given, and most of his Twitter feed, to continually burning Ted Cruz in a remorseless one-man comedy vendetta. Enjoy! 'I would rather have anybody else be president of the United States. Anyone. I would rather pick somebody from the phonebook.' (http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2013/08/19/ted-cruz-at-princeton-creepy-sometimes-well-liked-and-exactly-the-same.html) Thanks Craig!
  20. At first I assumed this wasn't a response to me, because I sure as **** didn't say anything about playing Richardson as an attacking winger, but looking back through the thread I can't see anybody else justifying that either, so I guess you were responding to me? In which case I have no clue what you're talking about. Obviously there's a difference between a] seeing the logic of rotating the squad 48 hours after another game, and b] seeing the logic of specifically choosing Kieran Richardson as a winger. Since I said a] and not b], I'm a bit lost why you're talking about b]. Or were you actually responding to someone else?
